Did you know that you can use bubbles to jump high at 5:08? You can also hold up when aiming in order to make your cursor instantly up and stay that way, something you should have done at 4:56. You can also press the L button to lock the aiming cursor in place.

This stage is hard. This is the only Secret Stage that rivals the Extra Stages in difficulty. This, More Monkey Madness, and the infamous Kamek's Revenge are so cruel. You really have to work to achieve the true ending of the game. I was the 18th Yosh but I will never give up on my dreams to one day be the 1st Yoshi to visit Yoshi's Island.

I love how you go through this almost perfectly, but screw up at 4:59 and 8:43 :p

This is one of the greatest games I ever played, as well as my first Nintendo game, about 10 years ago. I spent hours playing Yoshi's Island. It's amazing. Unfortunately, I only have 100% in the first two worlds, but I have at least 900 points in all the others.

My death toll is probably in the thousands.

@TheBeninatorj I'm playing this game right now, and I'd only do the Secret levels to unlock any Extra levels. I don't really care about getting 100 for each level, though the more the merrier!

This level is not that bad when compared to the bullcrap on some of the extra stages but it is still pretty challenging and is one of the longest levels in the game too.

@ikkesdus Another thing is if you eat their bubbles, and then simultaneously jump and spit upwards, you go REALLY fuckin' high. Like, off the top of the screen high.

i got through the first part bouncing off the Wiggler Flies. I dont know why that wasn't done here. You get great air and done with that part quickly. Believe me, the first part of the level is far from the worst.

@TheMustacheMondo You should try the third secret level.  Try to get all of the flowers. I guarantee you that you will have trouble on at least one of the flowers without looking up the solution.

Defeating Bowser unlocks the secret levels. Getting a total of 800 points in each individual world unlocks the extra levels.

you have to complete level 6-8 (score does not matter) to unlock this

@mweepinator Just finish the game once... (Kill baby bowser >> 6-8), this will unlock all "Secrets" stage, for "extra" stage, you need 800points per world...

how do i get to this level? ive beat the entire game 100 percent score but not the extra? how do i get to secret levels like this one is there a hack you need to download or hidden games? i got both yoshi island for snes and for game boy advance....

Simply beat the game (100 percent score is not neccesary) to get the Secret levels.

But please note they only show on the GBA version. The SNES version does not have these secret levels.

So, in your GBA game the secret levels should be already unlocked.
