You got to love Fascist States of Corporations (USA). It is not the consumers fault it is the corporations fault for selling out and moving overseas to manufacture things. Globaliztion and Free Trade are the main reasons why Americans are so poor. The US needs to have at least 50% of the economy in manufacturing (secondary) and 10 to 20 in primary, and the 40 to 30% in the service sector. We now have 70% in the service sector and at least 10% in primary (mining, farming, Agri).
Consumers do not have the power in Government. The Corporations have more power than the entire population in the USA. Our Democracy allows us to elect a new ACTOR ever 4 years to Act as President but is the puppet of the Central Bank, Defense Corporations, and the top 5% of the population. Right now 70% majority of the US wants out of Iraq but the 30% minority rules over the majority and decides whats best for Corporations and Big Business.
There at the end when Beck was asking them "what this means for the average person" he was looking for a dumbed down scary explanation. I didn't notice that when this was on TV a few weeks ago.
