It was impossible for me to manage Burke´s Barrage from Mills Mess, but after long training i did it. In my opinion it would be better to make tutorial how to learn B. Barrage from Cascade, but maybe my opinion is wrong. Thank you for these tutorials.
Thanks so much for the tutorial. lately my juggling has been feeling kind of bland so your tutorials on what I see as "the big tricks" are really helpful :D Learned takeouts in like 3 minutes.
ur style is amazing but i found this rather confusing than helpful... I remember it to be the first video to watch when i started learning those tricks and i sort of thought i'm gonna give up. Now that i know how to juggle those patterns it does make sense though haha
Thank you for the tutorial, but I foud it too complicated explanation. I spent hous trying to understend this, it was hopeless. But then I started with this one and did it in 15 minites! watch?v=4h4p3E4FyTU
haha the mills mess is NOT a recovery pattern for me, it messes with my head...but thats prob cuz i learned it second to the cascade...even before reverse cascade :P
i learned mill's mess from noneck1985. then as soon as i learned takeouts from this vid, and the first 30 seconds of burke's barrage, i had BB in the bag
I'd been using thegnome's tutorial for Burke's Barrage (which really is takeouts) and hadn't been able to really piece it together. Because your tutorial shows how to do it from a cascade, I was able to pick it up after a few days. Thanks a ton! Now I just need to make sure that the ball that plays "tennis" doesn't go flying 3 feet away from me after 3-4 cycles. XD
This is a great tutorial. I was able to learn how to transition between MM and BB pretty easily, using this vid as a tutor. Thanks for the excellent work, you have a knack for teaching.
Very nice tutorial, and well done on explaining the "Real Burke's" confusion.
Technically, the original version as done by Ken Burke also requires the 2 to be clawed on the way over, then palm-up on the way back. Few people do it that way anymore.
this is a great tutorial. it shows you what to do and when to do it. thanks a lot :) though i agree with gzoek in that using a regular cascade for both trick helped me to learn both of the tricks, instead of starting with mills mess for burkes, which seems a bit more complicated, though i see the point of using it.
Great tutorial. One of the best I've seen. I just learned both patterns. After learning takeouts the way you describe I found it easier to learn BB the same way (i.e., starting from cascade rather than MM). Starting from Mill's Mess seemed like it would work too but learning the two back-to-back using the same steps really shortened the learning curve for me.
also, I recently learned reverse takeouts (or something remarkably similar) but I hadn't thought reverse Burke's was possible! nice job with that, looks rad!
GreAt tutorial! but you forgot to mention to practice 423! that's what helped me learn takeouts easier was thinking 423 with under-arm 4's. But still, another brilliant tutorial worth 5stars for sure!
ive always found that instead of an over throw at the begeining, just throwing 1 ball as if it were a 4 ball fountain then reaching over to get it and go into the pattern from there
And thank you for listening me requesting it ;-). It turned out i have been doing it wrong for almost 5 months xD. I had to many take-outs which made it a spasmcascade. Thank you for making it lots and lots clear, you make a great teacher over the internet =D.
YES xD. Mawby silly to ask, i have seen you doing 4 ball multiplex take-outs. If you could mawby include that one as well =D. Only a slowmo in the end would be fantastic :).
I would rather make a full tutorial on it than have just a bit of slowmo shoved at the end of another video. Just give me some time and I might make one...
I understand, you are right. I am not forcing you or asking you or suggesting ideas. I only mentioned it's a trick that i liked and you obviously learned ^^.
I have been doing that reverse takeouts for a few years now....I have been naming them "takeins" because of whats actually happening :) again awesome breakdown on the tut
thanx it really help
