DJ Shadow is a little over-hyped. Endtroducing was amazing but everything since then has been gradually getting worse and worse. He's just not as tight as he used to be. Cut Chemist on the other hand still rocks. I wish he'd come out with more solo recordings.

You can't say he's over hyped unless you've seen him live. Shadow is amazing. Plus he told me after the tour, he was gonna go back into the studio and that the dudes that did "Scratch" came to him to do a soundtrack for another project. But each to his own I guess. (BTW, you know you're gonna buy the next Shadow album anyway, LOL.)

wow. that's quite a sweeping statement. i'm a big shadow fan and i don't particularly like his new stuff, but he's an artist, he's doing what he feels he needs to do right now. i respect that. doesn't mean he's 'not as tight as he used to be' - he can still nail it. fuck it.
