Sort of chickened out a few minutes before (plus it was cold) but then when the siren started up I went back out. I have NO idea what kind of siren it is and I'm really curious to know.

what pisses me off that they discontinued the Tbolt, and the 2001 took its place,Now im not dissing the 2001,but the first generation of the 2001 is that it had a Tbolt rotator.But they designed a more effectent direct driven one for the 2001.why the hell they cant do that to the Tbolt and keep it in production?Its simple that they could Keep the bodystyle of the Tbolt, and only changes is with the rotator.Im sure that they can design a more effetant blower, bottom line is,FS screwed themselves.

@nickman888 they discontinued the thunderbolt because of the high maintenance and its runs on AC. i do agree with ya, 2001s suck ass, i mean FS couldn't make thunderbolts run on DC? i can make a tbolt run off of DC, simply change the blower and rotator motor with DC ones and its ready for DC current. the chopper is a universal motor (AC/DC, 120-240V), it will last over 50 years without breaking and help them to

@skateskool100 this specific one is for tornados and other severe weather. i know in Bristol PA, several FD has t-bolts for a fire siren. the local FD (station 21/22) has an STH-10, recorded it to, do you have a recording of ur t-bolt going off?

@djpooh28 if you are talking about this model, a t-bolt 1003 has a total of 6 different modes, attack, alert, hi lo, alternate wail,(my favorite) pulsed, and alternate pulsed

@hootergirlsrhot - I dont think these do alternate wail, man. and alternate pulsed doesnt even make any sense. Pulsed is when both solenoids are closed on/off at the same time... And alternate is pretty much another word for Hi/lo.
