@1337pwnxorx Me to, i never played d&d or magic or anything like that...i read all of the Eragon books that were out, didnt have a clue what to read next...some guy was sitting there at the fantasy and asked what i was looking for, told him i have no idea but i want a good fantasy series...so he told me about the legend of Drizzt...i wasnt going to get it..but he sat and talked about it until i eventually bought the first book...and now i cant get enough

i think they look pretty good...as drizzt's ORIGINAL scimitars. but when you make the enchanted ones, twinkle is shorter than icingdeath and they look different. i doubt that the 2 would have the same runes. nice scimitars, but they are not drizzts.

Drizzt's swords are scimitars, a scimitar has a curved blade, which is stated many times throughout the book, the swords also look nothing like Twinkle and Icingdeath. Looks like whoever designed these swords read the books about as well as the creators of the eragon movie read the book Eragon

True, but that is how his scimitars are portayed in a lot of media, especially a few book covers. It is unknown if Drizzt's scimitars are thin or thick bladed (the ones in this video are very thin bladed and are a little too straight, could do with a greater curve and a widening of the blade at the end.)

@XxDrizztx I don't know what you're talking about, these swords look remarkably like Icingdeath and Twinkle, I looked in the back of my Lone Drow book and there's an advertisement for swords that look just like these, and they say that they come with a certificate of authenticity signed by R.A. Salvatore, not only that, these swords do have curved blades, they're just not as curved as most scimitars.

@XxDrizztx these are scimitars, you are repeating an age old mistake of thinking that these are cutlasses, however there are some things wrong with this, like the pommel and handle, but otherwise the blades are pretty much flawless

@livedrainer9 Er...Sorry, but these aren't scimitars at all. I wouldn't go so far as to call them a cutlass, but the back of the blade is completely straight. The fact that the cutting edge has a curve near the end isn't enough to qualify it as a scimitar.

@livedrainer9 As I said, these are based off of the original Museum Replica pieces that were based on the design by Todd Lockwood and approved by Salvatore. This means dick-all, since these designs bore little resemblance to how the swords are described in the novels. They are originally two completely unique blades, yet now they look remarkably similar. They also both now bear Drow inscriptions, even though neither are of Drow make. Icingdeath has also lost it's cat's maw design.

@XxDrizztx I feel like it's worth mentioning that the swords in this video are cheap knock-offs of the original Twinkle and Icingdeath replicas put out by Museum Replicas. The originals were not nearly as bulky as these, and looked much nicer. (Particularly Twinkle.) The swords were designed by both Todd Lockwood, whose done more artwork for D&D than I care to count, and approved by R.A. Salvatore himself. If anyone knows what they're supposed to look like, it's them.

@XxDrizztx Well, Icingdeath isnt a scimitar, Twinkle is, if you read carefully many of the books say "Icingdeath sword and Twinkle scimitar" And while the design of the swords isnt too much exact, they are a decent resemblence. Because on the cover of quite a few books of Drizzt, the two swords have gems in their hilts and they do not show any inscriptions, other than that the blades are not too much different from the two swords in the Drizzt books

haha yeah i bought a set as well came to 118 bucks for them they are 440 stainless steel with leather sheaths lke his but MINE ARNT SHIT LKE YOURS haha MINE have the blue saphire and red ruby in each sword they are usualy about 70$ a swrod but i found them online for a great price there is another guy on youtube here has a special set tht they only made 500 copies of he has number 266 his are silver plated handles and sheaths and the blade is folded steel on his there absolutly stunning

there really not the metal is a of fire quality the tang comes loose on them, the leather unwaps, they are cheap knockoffs set you back maybe 40 dollars for the two, i have the origonal pair and they are not cheap nowadays

if you look on the hilt of twinkle it dose not have the shapire and that determens that they are the $30-$40 range the good ones are about $250 each i got mine for $430 (the good ones) they are not $2000
