I've had the mouse for about a year and 2 months now, excellent for browsing the interwebs and such, but considering I'm still a teenager and sprouting like a fucking quercus alba, my hands seem to be to big for i now and it has become a bit uncomfortable for me, but that is just me. I totally suggest it and think it's great, but soon here I will be getting myself a Razer Naga, which is a bit bigger and will help me in the games I play, so I think that it's a fair trade.
Alright im looking for a decent gaming mouse, the one i have currently is nothing fancy, just one of the older logitech models. Ive taken a look at a dozen mice, and based on amazon reviews each one of them have a fatal flaw. Any suggestion on what would be a safe buy would be greatly appreciated.
alright, listen guys! i realy recommend this mouse logitech M505! i am using it for 2 years and its just amazing. superb economic on batteries!!!!!!! you just can't show me a better mouse! and good shape, medium size, great sensetivity.
What's the model number for your MX revolution? I want it! I'm trying to find a good medium sized wireless mouse and it looks like the perfect size for me!
@Tibb91 Not sure what you mean by length but the mouse is medium quiet. Almost any mouse will make some noise but I definitely do hear it so if you want silent I am not sure what to say. Even the MX Revolution makes a click noise.
I have this mouse and a compatible keyboard. But ever since I use the unifying receiver the mouse doesn't work properly. So I uninstalled the unifying receiver but nothing happened. If I use the USB I got with the mouse it doesn't work.
I've decided to purchase this mouse to use with my 15" MacBook Pro (2010), instead of the purchasing the Magic Mouse simply due to the ergonomics. I have never used an Apple Magic Mouse, but just by looking at it I can tell it would be extremely uncomfortable to use for long periods of time. Aesthetics are important but ergonomics especially for computer related peripherals are essential, I hope Apple put as much emphasis on ergonomics as they do on aesthetics on the next generation Magic Mouse.
@FanaticPlay Actually, though this is a great mouse the Magic Mouse is great also. Though some complain about that I use my computer for long periods of time and have never had a problem with it.
lol just using it and i gotta say it's a very nice mouse for the price! not to expensive but i used it for 1,5 years and i just replaced the batteries and that's the only time i've done that in 1,5 years! pretty insane and the reciever is compact and small but it's nice you can store it in your mouse itself. the only problem is that it's a little small but i don't really care about that it's very usable and stuff and it's very precise and also from pretty long distances it works pretty well.
i know this is not a gaming mouse, but it is 1000dpi.
has anyone here tried it for gaming? i know there are other wireless mice that are gaming specific, but where i live they are very expensive. and i also want one for everyday use, and im not a fan of gaming specific as i am a claw-grip.

well it isn't good for gaming man. it's way too small to use it for gaming! it's decent for gaming but if you are a real gamer or pretty regular gamer you won't want to be using this mouse! only if you play a game thrice in a week or so you'll be fine but it will still not be very convenient. i would recommend it for regular usage or if you are traveling allot and you don't have that much room in your laptop bag but for gaming i wouldn't recommend it

Not Bluetooth. That's not not the Bluetooth logo; that the "Unifying" logo. The Unifying technology could be good if you want to add a key-board. Otherwise, I'd say that the real advantage of this mouse over the M3xx is the battery life.
@dannyho1304— M310 does not have a tilt wheel; M505 does. M505 battery life is about 25% longer, but takes two AA batteries, where the M310 needs just one (so you'll buy 33% more batteries with the M505). The M505 uses a Unifying dongle, which can be shared with some key-boards and used by some other Logitech mouses. M310 is larger; M505 is heavier. M505 is available in black, in black-and-silver, and in black-and-red; M310 is avialable in black-and-silver and in black-and-blue.
Do you need to install any software to use the mouse??
Is the mouse response fast enough? I have the V470 and you can actually see a delay between the movement and the cursor, I wonder if it is the same for the M505.
i've been using this mouse since november 2009 and this morning the led light turn to red, the battery last for upto 4 months for my heavyweight usage (24/7, i didn't use it just while i was sleeping)
You had me at compartment.

HI!
Could you write me the length of this mouse?
By the way is the click quiet?
I mean...I have a Logitech mouse, and the click is so loud...
I wanna have a quiet one.

@appledude25
I meant.my Logitech mouse is 12 cm (4,7 inches) long.
So that's a medium-sized mouse. And perfect.
But if I click on the left button, its's so loud! And hard to press ,too.
I have an old Samsung mouse as well, and that is extremely quiet.
But now I wanna have a quiet, wireless mouse.
And this Logitech is perfect. Extremely long battery life (thank you, Duracell), good cover, everything.
By the way thanks for the quick answer!
