If you think about it, Hinata has a stronger feeling for naruto and supports him in a stronger way than Sakura ever did. She always thinks of him and supports him even when he was young and a lot of people hated him. Like when she had that flash back? She watched over Naruto and wished the best. What had Sakura do? Prob doin what she does, whatever. She barely started to care for him until later.

Sakura stood in the background holding a kunai for about like, a lot of episodes. PLUS SHE HELPED KILL SOMETHING SOOOOO CUTE AND AWESOME!!! Sigh... rest in peace Sasori.... It's not like Naruto cheers for only Sakura, pssh, he cheers for Hinata too and Hinata cheers for him too. Plus, Sakura looks REALLY bad with Naruto as in personality..
