Google "ScoreHero" and view the forums for more info on that. To be honest, I don't have a modded PS2, so I don't even tamper with this stuff (which is why I got someone else to do this for me LOL). That said, I'm not sure if people found a way to get custom songs on GH3, but it's definitely possible on GH2.

HOWEVER, I hear there is something for a PC version of GH3. Don't ask me how to do it, though. Like I said, view the ScoreHero forums under the Software sub-forum. Good luck to you.

Please, do me a favor... click on his profile and search his videos. This guy makes a large crapload of videos for people (myself included) so we can at least see what it looks like on the game. And IMO, though this song itself isn't tough, I'd rather hear the song played out than "EEE err err EEEER EEE!"

Well, technically, the charts are the same. The only thing really is that the guy imported the song from Freetar (a crap program used to make GH songs) and it sustained every note. Just the quality is SO much better here that it really makes the difference haha.

on customs can you play on medium eay and hard?

Somebody would have to create a chart for that. Meaning, it doesn't automatically generate that stuff for you. When you do whatever it is you have to do to put the chart on the game, you choose which difficulty level you put it on. So, if while playing, you select a difficulty that doesn't have anything on it, I assume your game will just crash. But I charted this specifically as an "Expert" difficulty, though it's not hard of a song.
