IMO (not that its worth anything), the s12 is the best shotgun available to civillians. I think this because of the reliable semi-auto action w/ 2 gas settings, and magazines with 5,8,10,12,20, or even thirty round capactiy. Of 12 gauge.

The KSG would be perfect for SWAT teams, have one tube full of breaching rounds, and the other full of slugs or whatever else it is they use. After the locking mechanism of a door has been blown out, just flip the switch, pump it and you're ready to go.

@Teir1Delta Saiga shotguns recoil less than any pump by a good margin due both to being auto (some energy that would be put into your shoulder is instead used to eject and then load the next round) and generally being heavier firearms.
Ever since I've been watching Nutn vids on everything, but especially the shooting vids, I've seen glocks, 1911, kel tec, FN, etc. A complete absence of the venerable Browning Hi Power.
Love your videos, pity as civs we can't train like this in Australia, would be classified as a militia which is against the law here, though we do own guns and shoot at club ranges, awesome guns you guys get to shoot, closest I get is a glock34, Remington 7615p and a remington 700p in 7mm rm, not the best suited load out, I am interested in setting up a run and gun range and keeping it private, for now now I watch and you are my teacher.
At 2:55-2:58, you wouldn't have to lean so far out from cover to get a good sight picture if you didn't have your head cocked to the side, but obviously you're shooting is fine. Just saying...

There has to be some kind of indicator for when you have to switch tubes. Either they should design it to do it automatically or just to make a little sound to alert the operator.
The whole thing with the firing and the chamber being empty happens on all shotguns, rifles, and handguns that don't have some sort of bolt hold open I don't think the KSG warrants criticism in that case. That is actually one of the main reasons I like AR's over AK's and my Benelli M4 over my 870. It might have not come up as a problem in this shoot with the 1300 or the Siaga for obvious reasons of over capacity or having set rules for rounds on target and specific reload points. Fun to watch.
Hey guys I went to my gun store to see about ordering a KSG and the owners said there was many complcations and kel tec was thinking about scraping the whole project. Has anyone heard anything like that or are they just crazy.

Mega lol. Love the sarcastic wit going on constantly in these shoots, you guys obviously had a blast. That Saiga is just a BEAST, nice run at the end there too by Nutn, tired and aching and you still manage a perfect score with the fastest time.. What?! Awesome.
Nutn, I love all your videos and I think this ranks among the best, not only for quality, but also for content, maybe especially for content. Chad was great and I really appreciate the effort he gave and I appreciate Kel_Tec for allowing him to do this. I have always considered them a bit of a maverick and I think this is proof. Not many manufactures would do this. PFIDude and Dad were also great. There was great camaraderie between you all. Low key and fun, my kind of folks.
I miss Chad already.....that was a WHOLE LOTTA run n gunnin going on there. Never new you did so many in one day cus I never saw so many in one shoot before. You must have like 10 camcorder batteries.

Is that a Trijicon sight on the Siaga 12? Also, how the heck do all of you get through these videos without cussing and bleeping? I'm sure being a father helps but does anyone else have kids aside from PFI Dad (of course), or do you train them with shock collars at TNP bootcamp to teach them self control (soaring brown eagles excluded)?
I'm a huge fan, and enjoyed watching this series immensely. Chad was awesome. PFI Dude and his Dad are the best, and I always respect your opinions. My purchases reflect that. But... "keeping it real", to me it played like a very subtle and effective Saiga promotion.

Hi Nutn, love your vids and all the hard effort involved into them, but I have to say that the KSG shotgun looks very inconsistent out in the field. Whether it's a training issue or just a flawed design, the gun seems too prone to hanging up via the magazine selector or the safety switch. I think a Remington 870 would be more appropriate for home defense and tactical needs. Thanks and again, just expressing my own criticisms.
The Saiga 12 rocks! I hated how Chad kept commenting on the weight. Do some curls dude! Screw loading tubes and all that crap. It is awesome having a shotgun that you can drop the mag out of, slap another one in and rock and roll! Scattergun vs. Scattergun head to head, Saiga 12 dominates!
Excellent series of videos guys! If it were legal here, I'd buy a KSG without a second thought. I personally like the cross-bolt safety, it's the same sort of thing as the Steyr AUG, but I guess preference will vary depending on what you're used to.

Nutn, I love all your videos and I think this ranks among the best, not only for quality, but also for content, maybe especially for content. Chad was great and I really appreciate the effort he gave and I appreciate Kel_Tec for allowing him to do this. I have always considered them a bit of a maverick and I think this is proof. Not many manufactures would do this. PFIDude and Dad were also great. There was great camaraderie between you all. Low key and fun, my kind of folks.

Is that a Trijicon sight on the Siaga 12? Also, how the heck do all of you get through these videos without cussing and bleeping? I'm sure being a father helps but does anyone else have kids aside from PFI Dad (of course), or do you train them with shock collars at TNP bootcamp to teach them self control (soaring brown eagles excluded)?

I'm a huge fan, and enjoyed watching this series immensely. Chad was awesome. PFI Dude and his Dad are the best, and I always respect your opinions. My purchases reflect that. But... "keeping it real", to me it played like a very subtle and effective Saiga promotion.

Hi Nutn, love your vids and all the hard effort involved into them, but I have to say that the KSG shotgun looks very inconsistent out in the field. Whether it's a training issue or just a flawed design, the gun seems too prone to hanging up via the magazine selector or the safety switch. I think a Remington 870 would be more appropriate for home defense and tactical needs. Thanks and again, just expressing my own criticisms.

The Saiga 12 rocks! I hated how Chad kept commenting on the weight. Do some curls dude! Screw loading tubes and all that crap. It is awesome having a shotgun that you can drop the mag out of, slap another one in and rock and roll! Scattergun vs. Scattergun head to head, Saiga 12 dominates!

Excellent series of videos guys! If it were legal here, I'd buy a KSG without a second thought. I personally like the cross-bolt safety, it's the same sort of thing as the Steyr AUG, but I guess preference will vary depending on what you're used to.
