That almost happened to me in REAL LIFE. A idiot flies in to our airport for a check out. Comes to the office and says his battery is dead and wants to know if we can hand prop his plane. Sure we say, that will be $25. He pays and me and the lead mechanic . I tell the guy to turn power on and put his throttle settings to start. And I tell him 'DONT GET NEAR THE START BUTTON" He gets settled in, puts on his headset, and we reach in to grab the prop and he hits the starter and it STARTS!

@TheEMan1997 Wrong. Air plane engines can be set to run ether direction. If you are a pilot in un-familiar airplane. you might check the rotation prior to take off. Then you know to use right or left rudder for the torque effect.
