  • whole video is lip synced... great song

  • All rock groups re-did the R&B songs for awhile

  • OK,This is weird..Vanilla Fudge on "Wonderama"! Never even seen this, until now! Whatta strange combo here,Heavy Metal,meets\ the Kids! Funny!

  • I spent many many hours sitting in front of our tv set back in the 60's watching Sonny Fox hosting Wonderama, and the Sandy Becker Show, Soupy Sales, Chuck McCann, The Joe Bolton show, wow, we had it made as kids back then! Nothing dirty really, mostly shenanigans, pranks and jokes, what great memories!!!

  • @geetarnut Wasnt it great, i was born in '60 and grew up with all that, plus the greatest music the world has ever heard, man, it was fantastic to be a kid then, no computers, no cell phones, no worries, just good fun and good times, boy i miss those days!

  • classic!!!

  • This show was probably taped during the era..when Entertainer:Bob McAllister was the fifth and last adult host/performer of"Wonderama".But again..it's hard to say..because we don't have the complete show to refer to?

  • LOL!!!!!! Good for the Fudge to make a MOCKERY of canned audio of their album track. Mark hamming on Organ, Bass Guitarist Tim Bogert 'playing" Saxophone, Drummer Carmine Appice(who is generally hard to see because of his massive drum set-up" "playing" a toy drum and lead guitarist Martel 'playing' trombone. All four sing, and their songs are in 4 part harmony, and here only Mark is hamming as if he is all the vocal--ha ha! Where is Wonderama? They must have been in on the joke(VBG:) Max

  • 4:13 !

  • This is totally wacky the bass player with a sax and the guitar player with a trombone.

  • Dear Spacetunes, The very first version of"Wonderama!"that Sandy Becker hosted on WABD TV Ch.5 in NYC was on for six hours on Sunday afternoons live. That version was on longer than the 4 or 3 hour sunday Morning versions mc'd by Herb Sheldon,Bill Britten,Sonny Fox And Bob McAllister.

  • @4thekidsTV Thanks for info on Wonderama, it is clear they were completely in on it by putting the LUDICROUS "psychedelic effects" o screen. It is my bet that Carmine was the one that got this idea--Carmine is a CHARACTER--and funny:) Given the date this is POSSIBLY Fudges first TV appearance(i stress "possibly").Max

  • THIS IS MUSIC< BRING BACK THE 60s

  • this is so damn funny... hahaha they look so uncomfortable... 1:54 onwards when the drummers banging the air then the other dude swivels around his chair I couldn't stop laughing haha!

  • If u r from New York/New Jersey area this may make more sense,Wonderama was a kids show, a really goofy kids show with Sandy Becker as host, biggest problem with this video is they did not cut it down,I thought it was very funny but went on a little too long

  • haha! ...enough!

  • Towards the end trombone guy Vince said fk it not playing this crap. What a mindless production this was. Doesn't even make sense 47 years later. Look at Mark glance over at Bogert @1:14 as Tim twirls around on his stool. Bogert must have felt like a monkey on a wind-up music box and was taking jabs at the "brilliant" producer who came up with this. Talk about paying yer dues.

  • @blackdiamondrider you got that right! kinda funny at first - in the spirit of the day, but this is ridiculous!

  • they shoudn't have bothered....dint the producers of the show know they werent interested in this sort of thing?

  • I remember Nirvana doing this way back, and this is just as hilarious! The producers of this show should have been embarrassed of themselves. This only makes VF cooler in my book. Really like Appice banging himself in the head at 1:43

  • @jotacalvo In what show did Nirvana do this?

  • @DannyDelReyo Hey check this out...I finally found it . Crap I don't know how to cut and paste an url in this site. Is there a reason that it won't let me?!! Look up "Smell Like Teen Sprits" or Nirvana lip sync. Still hilarious

  • This is hysterical! As Cokelike said "Seriously, what the hell??" As talented, inspired and hard working as the Fudge are they had to consider this whole appearance as something of the parody of themselves that many of these staged TV performances were. They were probably asked to lip synch to their own recording and knew their fans would see it for the scam it would be so they did the honorable thing and 'unperformed' it. Hats off VF!!

  • Seriously, what the hell?? Where are their instruments? Trombone???? LOL These guys rock ....

  • nice

  • LONG LIVE Holland-Dozier-Holland. Don't sleep on this song cuz its one of the great gems of the 60's and pop music. The Supremes rocked it and Vanilla Fudge Kills it.
