not exactly, its kind of confusing. the california supreme court legalized gay marraige. a group of evangelical nuts got them to put prop 8 on the ballot that would make gay mairrage illegal. then the mormon church and evangelicals like rick warren paid millions and millions of dollars for commercials saying that if its not passed it will curropt our society and children will be taught to marry people of the same sex and so it was passed.
