Strictly speaking you are correct in saying this. The foreskin is highly enervated and comprises most of the erogenous tissue on the penis. Therefore from a functional standpoint you are removing considerably more than half of the penis!

If we did, everyone would be dependent upon life support machines, with all limbs etc. removed. All surgery on a child should only be performed to treat actual medical problems. What if you had been born in medieval Italy...would it be okay to castrate your boy to allow him to sing in the church choir as a castrato? Respect his bodily integrity!

@pugmager There's nothing unclean about being intact. It takes seconds to clean under the foreskin in the bath or shower. It takes me much longer to brush and floss my teeth, but I'm not going to go to the dentist to have them extracted to save the time! If you think of a baby as a piece of property that you can do anything you like to, I suggest you refrain from having any children.

Before I had my son, I was all for circumcision. My husband and I agree to get him circumcised. My husband who IS still intact agreed to have him circumcised. I was in the hospital and my husband called me in a panic sayin "Don't". He had just seen a video of an infant gettin it done and it was traumatic. So my son is INTACT also.

In Germany a doctor that circumcises a baby without medical reason could be convicted because of bodily injury and even the parents could get convicted because of involvement in bodily injury.
If circumcision will be necessary it can be done any time ! No need to hurry !

Call your physician office for an appointment at your name. Be prepared to gather the copayment by yourself because Mom may become too inquisitive. Ask your M.D. office secretary of exactly how much you are expected to pay though.
Be open to your physician. Tell him about the burning while masturbating made you afraid of infections and also that you want to keep it confidential. I think you are older enough for them to understand.

The ear, in no way, allows you to hear. The eardrum is what gives you hearing; but, it's only a useless 'flap of skin', after all. Why not remove it? After all, it's removal would help eliminate ear cancer, and than people wouldn't have to remember to clean behind it! If it was done in eons past, it should be perfectly fine to do now! After all, it's not like we have more complete medical knowledge. A prepuce, though, is another story. It serves many functions, including protection of the glans.
