  • Best Video Yet!

  • region1111: I'm no 'deepmind' but I think the message is very clear - it's not telling people to quit their jobs... It's a great metaphor of us getting so caught up in the everyday grind that we forget to stop and look at the bigger picture... the Passover Seder is a good time to do that... Awesome vid btw!! Sent it to all my friends

  • I agree with josh's attitude towards the start of the video. For christ's sake, you've got to keep your job and support your family.

If he spent all his time performing religious rituals, his wife would probably divorce him anyways. She's at that age where she expects her husband to be super ambitious and successful and work all the damn time.

  • I don't know if your Jewish, but.....

The reality is Josh's job was given to him by G-d. Josh's only has a wife & family because of G-d. G-d took us out of the slavery of Egypt (the narrow physical world) to grow in service to G-d ( the expansive spiritual world).

G-d commanded in the Torah for the Jews of ALL generations to remember & commemorate what happened at their time of release from slavery to everlasting freedom. No one's talking about spending "all his time performing religious ...

  • rituals". These "rituals" only appear so from an uneducated perspective. These "rituals" keep us from walking thru life as empty shells. Please , do yourself a favor & don't criticize something you know little about, or superficially at best. A Passover Seder gives a person an unbelievable wealth of insight & understanding of our lives.

And someone who works all the time can never know freedom, much less have a good marriage.

    Peace.

  • @region1111

one day I was painting a picture and my arm knocked over the paint and it went spillin all over my paper

I looked at the paper and I saw a beautiful picture of mountains and vallys and it all happend by chance??? No theres someone who created everything even if there was a big bang (which there wasn't) who created the stuff and made it form the world??? maybe G-d

    the story is an example

  • "I was painting a picture and my arm knocked over the paint and it went spillin all over my paper

I looked at the paper and I saw a beautiful picture of mountains and vallys"

Lmao. Your imaginary stories don't constitute proof of a god.

"even if there was a big bang (which there wasn't)"

LMAO. Congratulations on losing your last shred of credibility.

"who created the stuff and made it form the world??"

Phyics. And natural selection, which is a subset of physics.

  • "Your imaginary stories don't constitute proof of a god."

I didnt make it up (an ex-atheast did)

heres somthin youll appreciate atheasem is an non-prophet orgenezation

  • #1: I accused nobody of being uneducated, I referred to an uneducated perspective in regard to a CERTAIN TOPIC. Are you well versed in every single topic under the sun? Lighten up, Mr. Sensitive.

#2 You talk about your opinions as if they're facts as well, yet you've only swallowed what YOU'VE been indoctrinated with.

#3 Unfortunately, I DID go to public school. I'm still in recovery.

#4 I don't know what public school YOU went to. I find it hard to believe that any US grade schools ...

  • ...are offering courses in Philosophy or Comparative Religion.

Is it possible for you to debate or discuss something without hurling insults? So much for a public school education.

I pray that G-d opens your eyes, one way or the other.

  • "No one's talking about spending all his time performing religious. These "rituals" only appear so from an uneducated perspective."

That sounds like an insult to me. And I don't think you'd be so enthusiastic about those rituals if you admitted that they're all man-made, not god-made.

"These "rituals" keep us from walking thru life as empty shells"

Ridiculous. I live a full, enriched life, and I don't perform any religious rituals. (PS I continued my education past high school. Did you?")

  • If I had said "to an uneducated person" instead of "from an uneducated perspective", THAT would've been an insult. It's the same thing as if I had just said "they only appear to be empty or unnecessary or wrong or whatever derogatory spin you're giving on the word "ritual" because you know nothing of any worth about it. Now I suppose you're going to tell me you know plenty about the depth & breadth of everything that goes on during a Passover Seder, & I have indeed insulted your intelligence.

  • Look, region, Judaism happens to be based on the occurrence of the Hebrew nation having an encounter with the Creator of the Universe, & having received an all-encompassing set of laws governing all of life from Him.

You are not going to convince me that your world-view is correct, any more than I'm going to convince you that mine is; nor do I have any desire or obligation to try to do so.

I'm sorry to break this to you, but not only did I have an education past high school, ...

  • but there are PLENTY of doctors, lawyers, scientists of all kinds, etc. who will affirm the very things I've just stated about Judaism.

You worship something(s), just not G-d. I'm sure you do DOZENS of religious rituals every single day. It all depends on what you value in life.

    Have a nice life.

  • are u jewish

  • Very cool!
