That has never been aproblem with Ford or Dodge so they dont need to go to a fully boxed frame, because their frame holds just fine. I'am not impressed with the Allison trannys. I would take a 6 speed manual tranny over your pos any day and only Dodge has that option !!

Dodge's diesel can be modded to run quick, but its a straight six!! and it keeps up stock. The chevy has badass torque and yes those other things too. It does outrun the Dodge, correct. But it always will lose to the Duramax. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Dodge fan, but the Cummins is a damn good engine. Built to last. The new Scorpion is new, so we really don't know it's reliability. It should be better than the Navistar engines that were used before.

@sxlgame Gmc is the only maker that had to go to a fully boxed frame because they could not get it right, and their old frames would crack or rust real easy. That has never been aproblem with Ford or Dodge so they dont need to go to a fully boxed frame, because their frame holds just fine. I'am not impressed with the Allison trannys. I would take a 6 speed manual tranny over your pos any day and only Dodge has that option !!

Dodge's diesel can be modded to run quick, but its a straight six!! and it keeps up stock. The chevy has badass torque and yes those other things too. Im a Dodge man myself and I know there are finer points to each brand. Oh and Fords interior kicks the other twos asses

lol you got to love dodge sponsored testing. and the chevy wasnt the 6.2. all other non biased testing has the 6.2 chevy/gmc walking away from the dodge and slightly beating the tundra 5.7

@maplecustom99 theyre comparing the biggest engines you can get in the half ton trucks, which is the 6.2 for the chevy and 5.7 for the dodge. if you want to talk about the 6.1 hemi that is designed for dodges performance cars, then we can compare it to the 426 horse 6.2 ls3 found in the camaro, which beats the 6.1 found in the srt8 challenger. you could compare the 6.1 if they put it in the ram, but they dont, so you have to compare the 5.7 to whatever the top offerings are in the other trucks

@dubois4469 umm the 6.2 in the escalade, sierra denali, and now silverado has always been 403 hp and 417 lb ft of torque. not 410 and 450. yes you can get the 6.2 in the silverado. type in 6.2 silverado on youtube and look around, or google it. I know a guy with the 6.2 in a 2010 silverado with the 6 speed and it hauls ass

my opinion is when the 09 ford f150 is out then, then how come they used the 08? the 09 would've done better since it beat the chev and dodge at 7800 pounds at the truck of the year.

I like dodge but The hemi is not as good as the video makes it look. I know a few people that have them and they try and pull with them and it just don't work.

How about the ring & pinion options?? You give the Ram 4.10 and then race the others with like 3:55?? And he said "optional" v8...ford has 3 v8s to chose from..I would just like to see and exact spec per spec test. bc the f150 vs the ram with best gearing..dong 45-70...the f150 beats it. That's where it really matters when towing alot.
