Sally is a strange one, I played that yesterday. Glad they changed the flippers' angle later!
Too bad Pong was out of commission for the most part though, I wanted to play that again :(
This is very good, you didn't spend too much time on anything that you shouldn't have or made any of it boring. One of the very rare videos I gave all five stars for :)
Yes, I was around Friday evening and Saturday, and I videotaped Saturday (and interviewed some of the vendors.) Hope to have a worthy video of 2009 up sometime next week!
Great video, but at 2:05, that's a Fairchild Channel F, not a Bally Astrocade. :) A t 2:15 that's an Odyssey^2, not an Odyssey. :) Looking forward to the show this year, you guys always do an awesome job!
Awesome video. The narration is a great touch! Retrogaming is great. You can pick it up and play for 5 minutes or drop an evening into one... One day, I would like to have some original cabs if the house ever grew bigger. :-) For now, I'd have to settle for a mame cab. I had to fight just to have that in the living room!
One thing about the classics - they packed more challenge into a shorter time, and for somebody like me without much free time, this is perfect. Modern games don't 'fight back' nearly as much - if they did, people would probably give up on them quickly or return them to the store. Classic games were designed to give you around 5 minutes of play for a quarter, unless you were GOOD. So the challenge is more intense!
im from 95 but all i play is donkey kong. people need to respect classics more but instead they gotta go off and play gears of butthole with there new retard 360
Very awesome! Speaking as a gamer, it's just great to see so many old-school video games and pinball machines in one big area. One must definitely have respect for these classics, for without them, I highly doubt we'd have some of the games that we enjoy today. Thanks for giving us a brief glimpse at what must of been a really awesome expo.
Glad you liked it! I love retrogaming and have amassed a little collection of my own favorite pinball machines (5) and arcade videogames (4). There's something really PURE about the ancient forms of electronic gaming...

I knew that was an Odyssey^2 (used to play one just like it) but you got me on the Fairchild!
Also - I'm just a regular expo-attendee. The guy you should thank is Keith. He's the man!!!

That was cool. I would have loved being there playing all those pinball and classic games.
