Law enforcement officers are uneducated on the subjects of substance addiction and pharmacology. The simply enforce hypocritical laws.

In other words, they should stay the fuck out of the subject of oxycodone, and all drugs for that matter.

I support the legalization and regulation of all currently illicit drugs.

im on oxycodone 10mg/325mgs 4 times a day . and it helps my pain , but i also take xanax 2mgs 3 times a day , somas 350mgs too im 39 yrs old

I have severe rheumatoid arthritis. I can't sleep of late. I'm in pain 24/7. My family M.D. won't give me {lets say 10 mg} of Oxycodone or Vicodin a day to "take the edge off." {5mg at noon and 5 mg at bedtime} He says he doesn't "believe in it." Wants me to get on Methatrexate.Are there doctors who'll prescribe this in my situation? No lectures please. I want some relief. They are PAIN MEDICATIONS and very effective. Are there M.D.s who will prescribe these meds in my situation?

Oxy works wonderfully and basically saved my life. I was sick for over 15 years with a chronic bowel disorder. The pain was daily and unbearable. Oxycontin made me functional again and I put the suicidal thoughts behind me when the pain was controlled. Too bad it's illegal and I feel like a criminal when I buy or use but at least I'm a functioning member of society again and thank God that I didn't kill myself. Addiction IS hell though, so please be careful! Only take it if you have to!
