Of course the M98B has more bullet velocity, it takes a 8.6mm(Most people know it as the .388...or the .338, whatever it is =p), whereas the L96 takes a 7.62x51mm, or the .308. Both are amazing snipers in real life, but the M98 will be superior, even though it is still being tested by SpecOps.

For some reason, the 8x US scope reticle is very buggy for me. The lines disappear and then appear again, as if the texture isnt scaling correctly. I play at 1600x900. Anyone else notice this? I would record it but it is too detailed to notice on youtube (the lines dont completely disappear, they just look like a non-antialiased jagged line that change in width)

You didn't mention anything about the scope sway in between shots when using straight pull bolt. I guess it's because you had not yet unlocked it?

L96 scope sways 'alot' to the left in between shots. It took me a while to realize why at first it was so hard for me to hit 2 fast shots in case I missed the headshot.

Once you get used to the sway, L96 is the best bolt action sniper rifle for aggressive sniping imo. As you said, M98B is still the best long range sniper rifle for obvious reasons.

I'm Service star 21(level 66) and I get booster accusations daily. My SPM is 640 and my KDr is 2.2, due to me being an extremely aggresive player. If I played like I did in MW2, my KDr would be 3.5ish, and my SPM nearer 400.
