  • how about revenue sharing and a salary cap for every team. that just makes a little too much sense.

  • I love the A's but since 06 it has just been down hill,2010 seamed to be turning it around finishing at .500,but this year was a total downer, the offense just cant produce other than willingham, the A's need atleast 2 more solid bats for the middle of that line up hopefulyl one comes as a 3rd baseman because since chavy its been a swinging door, every year a diffrent 3rdbaseman.The main problem with the A'S is.....

  • Is the ownership, they dont want to stay in Oakland and want to dwindle down the fanbase, given its a small fanbase to begin with. They do not want to produce a winning team right now because they dont want the A's to win in Oakland that way Lew Wolff can go cry to Bud Selig about how look how much we suck, noone wants to come to our games, but if we move to SJ it will be better.Wolff knows that if they make a playoffrun before mlb decides on the stadium issue fans will come to oakland....

  • @jesse1970ss FINALLY A TRUE A'S FAN!!

  • drank to much apple juice

  • What do the A's need? Some stable bats. Every year their lineup reads mediocrity from hitters 1 through 9.

The team has this uncanny ability to produce and get good young pitchers that pitch very well. Just get these guys some run support. Just look at Texas, it's all about the run support there.

  • @MidKnightMellow Yup, They need run support or they will never win. You can't expect the pitcher to hold every offense to 3 runs.

  • The A's haven't been any good over the past few years because they won't spend any money. And when they spend do it's not smart.

Their payroll did jump from $51 million and change from last year to 66 million and change this year with no noticeable talent upgrades.

Hopefully the A's can keep/solidify Cahill, Gonzalez, and McCarthy so they don't end up like Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, and Mark Mulder.

    Good vid.

  • in my opinion oakland is turning into the maple leafs of baseball (no offence)

they do need more young talent but they should still keep 1-3 old players for a few years and then trade them

  • @yaitskov1 no offense taken. lol
