  • I gave you the chance of giving me a thumbs up willingly. But you have elected the way of PAIN!

  • Sarumans tower is the same shape as his staff-thingy....

  • gandalf never say saruman where is ring,,and this two never fights.this fat moron jackson change too much in this movie-adaptation.

  • Comment removed

  • Surely saruman the white would have had a less bland tower?

  • Honestly you couldn't put together a greater pair of actors to play these characters

  • I love Lord of the Rings, but you gotta admit, their dueling magic is lame. All they do is push each other magically.

  • I gave you the chance of aiding me willingly but you have elected the way of pain!!!!

  • I find this funny...Magneto vs Count Dooku! xD

  • Wtf did i just watch...?

  • Use the force!

  • Saruman is only a third of Christopher Lee's full power. Dracula, Saruman and Count Dooku need to unite.

  • @ZwergbuntbarschLP HAHA that would be an awesome film =D

  • @ZwergbuntbarschLP Still, if Gandalf combined with Magneto, he might still have a fighting chance.

  • It's an epic battle of the gorgeously-voiced masters of acting

  • 2:17, best Gandalf quote ever, everyone be abandoning wisdom fo madness these days.

  • 3:05 Gandalf : EVERYDAY I'M SHUFFLING !

  • Next stop: Magneto versus Darth Tyrannus

  • Christopher Lee is such a legend, he really knows to play badass villians.

  • i love lord of the rings they are my favourite movies, and books. but this entire fight is kinda lame lol... all they do is throw eachother around.

  • @Bribickhed6 Well, they are old men....

  • @Trund27 true

  • @Bribickhed6 :)

  • so, did Saruman give Gandalf his staff back? If he did, then that was a foolish move on his part.

  • force is strong in him!

  • sorry, wouldn't be

  • G: Tell me, "friend", when did Saruman the Wise led to the way of madness?

S: YAAAAH! *crack* Sorry for your spine, Gandalf!

    G: It's *death-rattle* nothing! *dies*

Me: This could be the alternate ending, Saruman should fetch and kill Frodo, and Middle-Earth would be on the Fourth Age.

  • @DBenDrag That was really funny man, thank you for entertaining us with this hilraious alternate ending haha! my props to you, you should have written the books AND directed the movies! you're an inspiration!

  • @DarthVailan

that's Mr Lee foreshadowing his Count Dooku role, methinks....

  • bundan sonra senin adın saruhan yarın gandalfıda alıp bana geleceksiniz O YÜZÜĞÜDE VERİN SAHİBİNE ULAN şimdi DAĞILIN ULAYN!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ...that looks fun

  • Saruman: He cannot yet take physical form but his spirit has lost none of his potency...

Saruman:...you know of what I speak of Gandalf...yes? Potency. Yess...POTENCY.

    Gandalf:..errr...

    Saruman:...unzip your pants Gandalf...

  • 0:58, Israel symbol. So Israel is truly evil!

  • 2:55 The force my friend, The Force! haha

  • Oh MAN how these actors are great. I shall be so sad when they finally die :( you don't get quality and discipline at this standard anymore.

  • i know sauman is a traitor and jerk but i still love him!!! saruman for ever!!! thank you sir christopher lee!!! long live sir!!

  • @nisiriti Totally agree :) A living legend.

  • Sarumon ended up killing thousands of men, women, and children, betrayed the forces of good, and breaded a new form of Orc which could travel during the day and would end up plaguing the good people of Middle Earth for years to come. For those reasons, I'm hoping beyond hope your referring to Christoper Lee and NOT Sarumon himself.

  • @JetJaguar1981 I still love Saruman.

Possibly even more because of those deeds.

  • The go back to the sewer where you came. The rest of humanity doesn't need pond scum and vermin like you polluting our race let alone our streets or neighborhoods.

  • @JetJaguar1981 People are laughing at you.

    You're just embarrassing yourself.

  • Sigh...this is why humanity is doomed...because of people who love bad guys...like you.

  • @JetJaguar1981 you can't be serius...it's just a movie.... magical powers don't really excist!! and its a brilliantly performed role by sir christopher lee!!

  • search: Saruman Hoca vs Gandalf

  • saruman is like...madness?? this is isengarddd!!!!

  • count dooku vs magneto...now i know why they could move things

  • One does not simply... kicks saruman´s ass

  • The Palantir is a dangerous tool...

  • Comment removed

  • @NottinghamForest22 Ok! ... ... Now what?

  • @DarthVailan There's metal all around them. Gandalf should have gone Magneto on his ass.

  • That silence at @2:24 makes this scene so damn epic. MADNESS?! *pause* HYAAA!

  • @DarthVailan What... don't tell me that

  • Trolling trololololol

  • 1:06 - I make the same sound whenever someone wakes me up in the morning before I'm ready.

  • The hour is later than you think

  • anyone tired of seeing ad's before the actual clip?????

  • 3:05 greatest breakdance move ever

  • Ganeto vs. Sarooku. Who will win?

  • Most EPIC old man fight ever.

  • I find this more comical than serious lol

  • 2:24 FUS RO DAH!!

  • Saruman <3 quelle class

  • 0:47 this scene is all the money

  • @EvilDarkChris @GangsterMafia2 Please stop... It's getting boring deleting your comments.

  • Gandalf couldn't possibly win in a force push fight, saruman is count fucking dooku man...

  • @Barbeta13 hahahahah! wrong man Gandalf is also fucking MAGNETO MAYNE !!! Gandalf wins hahahahaH!!

  • lol

  • Christopher lee is a king of bad guy roles, These movies would have been allot better then they already are if the greatest actors were givin more screen time, then again less is more

  • Cannot wait to see Saruman again in The Hobbit! Hopefully they'll show his corruption.

  • Gandalf is breakdancing.

  • Wow i didnt know humans can play with gravity like this

  • This was a very awesome part in the movie. Saruman is the best.

  • 2:50 Gandalf DOWN ! o0

  • Comment removed

  • is this what general shepherd was talking about when he said "sure it matters who's got the biggest stick but it matters a lot more who's swinging it"?

  • @prototype3651 xD Literally

  • 2:55 Saruman can and will endure only so much of Gandalf's shit

  • Gandalf: "Tell me, friend, when did Saruman the wise abandon reason for madness?"

Saruman: "Oh no you didn't!?!" *RAGE*

  • Gandalf showing his breakdance skills @ 03:04

  • The music is so epic, Era rules

  • Caution: Floor is slippery.

  • Am I the only one who died laughing watching this

  • In star wars: You must join me, Obi-Wan, and together, we will destroy the sith !

In LOTR: You must join Sauron

    LOL

  • This scene is mind blowing of how much powerfull it is .... but this scene truth be told never happend in the books Saruman and Gandalf never fought in Orthanc Saruman just imprissoned Gandalf on the top.... this statement is coming from a major Lord of the Rings fan ME!!!

  • *Wargs*

  • Gandalf was awesome I was a bit disappointed they left out the part where gandalf shot fire at warts.

  • Laughed when Saruman got thrown head first into that stone door! Gandalf would have owned Saruman if he hadn't taken his wand! :L

  • This is what happens in nursery homes when one guy thinks the other cheated at bingo

  • saurman cheated,he grabbed gandalf's staff- boo! lol

  • Even old men have air fights (Y)

  • What a pile of poop. A bit of telekinesis and some tripping, some wizard break dancing on your nose rot does not an epic Mage battle make. The depowering and castration of Gandalf is the main reason I would luke to bitch slap Peter Frickin Jackson. You watch that schmuck do the same to him in the Hobbit.

  • anyone else think that herbert vs mr. gutentag shoudve gone down like this?

  • scene 2:50 ore 2:49 i cen see the battery

  • This is why old people carry canes and they do this when were not lookin!

  • The fun thing?: I have this movie in perfect quality on my computer but I go here

to read the comments because they make everything so epic!

  • 2:24 aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the seeing stone in this scene! It looks so cool!

  • I think Saruman's staff is made of metal. Saruman turned into Count Dooku for a second and used the force to take Gandalf's staff. Gandalf should've turned into Magneto and take Sarumans

  • There is something about this fight that's really awesome. I mean, it's not a very advanced fight. But it's goddam epic!

  • @3:05 Gandalf shows off his B-boy skillz

  • He got trolled!

  • Comment removed

  • Remember, that this fight takes place in Saruman's tower. Any self respecting mage makes his/hers own tower to provide him/her with powerful enchancements, traps, etc etc. And Saruman was above Gandalf (he was white, while Gandalf was grey).

  • if you look closely every other scene the blood on gandalfs face disappears but still nice battle

  • at 3:05 saruman tries to breakdance lolololol

  • Push whores.

  • "A great eye, lidless, wreathed in flame.." Christopher Lee's voice is terrifyingly good.

  • @xMHxErebus Do you think you can upload more scenes from the LoTR trilogy?

  • @Gilfordvgg If you're gay then why reveal it to everybody on YouTube? Just go out to a gay club and you'll meet the man of your dreams.

  • saruman is badass

  • Is this fight scene better than the mental fight/or physical scene between Xavier and his former friend now enemy in X-men?

  • the last shithole to be fixed :)

  • Comment removed

  • Count Dooku > Saruman

  • Christopher Lee is the perfect Saruman

  • Where are all the fireballs, lightning bolts and freezy freezy stuff? :P

  • I dont know if its wrong but laughed so hard when I seen this

  • y does saruman look so much like gandalf the white (i dont watch lord of the rings so can some1 fill me in)

  • @chainsawelliott44 Essentially Gandalf the White was who Saruman the White and Wise was meant to be - when they were sent by Eru Illuvatar (basically, the God of the Tolkienverse) along with 3 other Istari Maia Spirit forms manifested as elderly men (Radagast the Brown and 2 mysterious Blue Wizards) to fight against the evil of the fallen Maia Sauron...in many ways, if Gandalf or Saruman took the One Ring for themselves, they could be just like Sauron. Gandalf is the purest good guy there is...

  • @chainsawelliott44 ...humble and very modest with his potentially awesome powers - even when fighting the Balrog, he refrained from opening up his spirit form and unleashing a power second only to the Ainur and Eru himself ...the Balrog itself being a bestial Maiar demon form, technically able to battle on a par with the 'Wizards', but still known to have been slain by powerful Elves even...but its fair to say that Saruman was always jealous of Gandalf. The Elves respected Gandalf more than him

  • ...When Gandalf 'died', Eru Illuvatar personally sent him back - because Gandalf (Olorin as God knew him) had died pure of heart, protecting the fellowship from grave peril and for being utterly selfless and loyal to the cause of fighting evil. Knowing of the corruption and treachery of Saruman, the supposed better Maia than Gandalf by a shade or two, Eru sent Gandalf back to essentially replace his ex-colleague and bring balance to the world, as well as guide the free peoples to victory...

  • @chainsawelliott44 ...As Maia, the Wizards are sort of 'Angels'. The Ainur are like the archangels, and Eru Illuvatar is God. The Elves are like the purest beings of Earth, basically demi-godlike children of God...and the First born of the beings that were sculpted by God to give to his Archangels (the Ainur) to populate and act as Stewards of the Earth.....but by the time of the Lord of the Rings setting, Elves are heavily declined and a shadow of their former power. Gandalf was a massive hero.

  • @chainsawelliott44 Gandalf basically put up with Sarumans arrogant bullcrap for literally THOUSANDS of years...even in this scene he is deferential to Saruman as if Saruman is far superior - when though he technically is superior at this time, even Saruman himself is slightly frightened of the inate lethality of Gandalf. Saruman is like dead good at inventing stuff (like explosives and anti cavalry pikes to fight Rohan) but is flawed by being too aggressive, too snobbish and manipulative.

  • @chainsawelliott44 Oh and colour denotes rank it seems - 1st = White 2nd = Grey 3rd = Brown 4th =Blue. However, Gandalf was so clever and so powerful, he could almost match Saruman. When Gandalf was 'revived' as a White Wizard, his true power became incredible (though still not quite as powerful as Sauron) Only a few beings were ever selected for 'revival' by Eru (God) As it happens, Glorfindel the Elf was one of them - who also died fighting a Balrog; during the Fall of Gondolin in the 1st Age.

  • fuck saruman.

  • 3:07

  • bones are cracking when there fighting lol

  • HEADSPINNNNN...and awaayyy =P

  • You would have thought it would have been a more impressive fight between two Gods...

(If you don't get this, read the books!)

  • level 85 PVP

  • @wizzzer1337 ^^^^^^^^^^

  • Saruman really doesn't like the word "madness"

  • @anasuikishibe Madness? THIS IS ISENGARD! *Lifts Gandalf to the top of the tower*

  • I put on my robe and my wizard hat.

  • it annoys me that gandalf never really gets saruman back for this

  • @TheUgsmash In the Extended Edition of The Return of the King, Gandalf gets Saruman back! Definitely worth checking out. It's not physical, but Saruman's pride gets destroyed.

  • @xMHxErebus ye i do have the extended edition its really cool. I suppose that he never fully gets saruman back just shows hes the better person and wizard. But he throws him around his tower when he frees theoden. Then in the extended version at the start of return of the king he breaks his staff and pretty much owns him then so i suppose he gets revenge in a way

  • @xMHxErebus I would love to get that version, I just bought the fellowship of the ring in blu ray and it's amazing :)

but I don't care, when I'll find a complete collection with also the extended parts, I'll get it :P

  • @TheUgsmash he also purges the king of rohan from saruman's spell, making his magic stronger than sarumans. definitely a "get back"

  • @TheUgsmash book... :)

  • @TheUgsmash In the book they never fight and its hinted that theyre even in power anyways even in the movie, just like they are in the book. Saruman cheap shotted Gandalf and had the advantage of attacking 1st. Even then he had to steal Gandalfs staff to beat him.

  • @TheUgsmash saruman was hurting gandalf Dx 2:37 and wouldn't stop 2:46...

  • @TheUgsmash Ah man, Galndalf humiliated the fuck outta him, and that is the most hurtful and demeaning thing to someone as egotistic and sure of himself as Saruman.

  • The best old man fight ever!

  • What is Gandalf holding in his right hand at 0:10? Is that a glass of wine or something?

  • I always wondered how Gandalf got his staff back...it's not like he would've went back to ask Saruman for it after the eagle helped him down from the roof...and the one he has later in the film looks identical to the one that was taken in this scene...

  • Who thinks Ian Mckellen would have been a better Dumbledore than Gambon?

  • how can u upload it, it is a copyright?

    Please tell me ;)

  • @0093Suhrab You can upload anything you want. Then Youtube will identify almost immediately if your video contradicts any copyright laws. This video was classed as "Matched third-party content." which means that it's allowed to remain up for the time being, because the owner of the copyright doesn't explicitly say it's not allowed to be used. It does mean that if the owner changes their policy, my video would get pulled. I tried to credit everyone involved in the video in the description.

  • @xMHxErebus Yeah. upload truth, not turds

  • @ARP7777777 I don't see what you mean.

  • @0093Suhrab And also I've tried to link to the LotR site at the end of the video. This doesn't always, in fact usually doesn't, work. I got lucky really, I uploaded it as a test to see if it was copyrighted. It's one of my favourite scenes because it's ACTION but not quite Hollywood. It's very minimalistic, as Peter Jackson said he wanted it in his commentary of the film.

  • Lol this is great

  • Not fair, Saruman is clearly using the force. ;O

  • Trolling Saruman anyone?

  • were they trying to trip each other to see which one breaks their hips first?

  • at 2:25 theres a miny scene scene of sarumon attacking gandalf (was that in the orginal version if so i didnt see it till now.) in a split second sarumons wand is horizontal than its vertical

  • Senior Citizen Smackdown!

  • Poor Magneto...Count Dooku wuz beating him up :O

  • 2:25

    epic eyes

  • awesome scene

  • Only if Gandalf could have been a White Wizard from the beginning. I would have loved to see Gandalf snatch Sarumans' staff and send him flying in the air.

  • this is what old people do when were not looking

  • awesome

  • 2:20 - 2:26 : Theres tension in the air, i can feel it !
