My turtle did this. I was talking to him about how i wanted a mudpuppy (type of salamander that barks) and that if it didn't know how to bark i would teach it. My turtle opened his little beak and barked! I laughed in surprise and was like, "i didn't mean YOU!!!!" lol. my turtle is crazy...

@theblackcreekmermaid My turtle is seriously crazy. One time, I was feeding him lettuce. He got what i call now "Lettuce Drunk." It's so funny. If i feed him too much lettuce, he goes in his shell and sinks to the bottom of the cage and acts dead. Then he pops out and mimicks the pose I'm in. The first one he did, he put one of his front legs on his log, poked his head out of the water and leaned on the log, just as i was doing on the table his tank is on! MY TURTLE IS MENTAL!!!! lol.

@SarahBear1209 My dog heard it because its on dog frequency or something. Turtles are considered by scientists to be the dogs of the reptile family. They will even fetch if you teach them. They dont roll over so go though. They get about half way then they are stuck.

@titanic98810 if you don't it will die, as this is a symptom of a respiratory infection or pnemonia, it might not be but it's never a bad idea to give it a check up as it could be an early sign. My turtle the big one was dying soo close to dying but I saveD it's life well actually the vet and antibiotoics did but it was my responsibilty, look at it all happy and swimming now.
