I am burmese and I am proud of it!

But when it comes to burmese music, I feel like Burmese singers or song writers does NOT have talent anymore. They all are copying from chinese, english, etc. !!! what the hell is wrong with them? can't they write some OWNTUNE???

all the burmese songs are copied accept Saing Htee Saing so think about it. If they hv their owntune than they won't sing a copied song.

But it doesn't mean they are not talented, and I am proud that they can sing better than the original one.

But still, when you are aboard from your country, you want to listen original burmese song. Not the kind of traditional song, but modern one with owntune created by "a Burmese person." I don't mind if one artist or two copy songs cuz other singers from other country copy too. but all the burmese artists copy. i can NEVER find an original song.

if my major is music major, i will be composing. but i am not. and i don't have time to create music. so i have to listen to COPY songs. but then again i don't listen to burmese music that much anymore cuz most of them are copied. so i just listened to English.
