  • What surprise me the most is who trained those ducks and cats to tease and not fear the Student Dogs ???????

  • All it takes, is patients to train a dog.

Nice video. I like those duckies, the cute kitties and that big fluffy white dog looks so gentle and loyal to his kin and to his master.

  • love the naruto soundtrack music

  • why not train the dog to work and do things it was bread for.

  • i have a boxer puppy and 2 older boxers i wish mine was as trained as that one

  • wow, thats really great. i'm curious how you keep the cats from eating the ducks. I had ducks and rabbits and my miniture Schnauzer chased them only once. the rabbits boxed him on the nose and one of my drakes got him by the ear and would not let go. he was afraid of them after that.

  • You have done a fantastic job, there will always be someone saying its cruel, infact you will find a dog will have a better life following instructions from a leader, Im with two boxers and i wish they were as behaved as that,

  • I do not see a choke collar...

    I see a prong collar..huge difference.

    what does "negative " mean?

U ,mean like give the dog a cookie and hope it does not kill the ducks?

That does not always work and U know it.

  • Too bad you feel the need to use negative training methods- choke chains should be a thing of the past.

  • Too bad you will find it nearly impossible to identify an "all positive" trainer who can actually take a vicious dog & teach it to have self restraint in a matter of hours rather than recommend that the dog is killed, which is what many trainers recommend because they are unwilling to use an appropriate, fair correction. This dog was to be euthanized for aggression before it came to us. The vet wouldn't see it without sedation. Now, she is a stable, self assured dog. What's the problem?

  • @darnfar Thank you!!! I had a friend with a very aggressive cat and when the cat was ill all vets refused to treat the cat cause of aggression! they could not put her on medication since they dont know what was wrong with the cat!! you did a good job and now the dog is well behaved and perhaps even find a home!

  • @darnfar Just because you cant find a trainer that will use positive reward-based methods doesn't mean you can justify using choke chains and hurting the dog. Of course it will behave around you- it WILL comply but it'll only be a temporary fix and be more inclined to be agressive when you or the owner are away. If you claim to have taught it in a matter of hours then that's proof of a 'quick' fix which is usually achieved by hurting and frightening the dog- eg. Cesar Milan.

  • @niptuck8068 I have posted a response at my website. It is under "Training Article" and called "A Challenge To Our Methods". I would prefer to leave the direct URL, but YouTube doesn't permit that. My website is DarnFar.com

  • poor dog. she's being deprived. let her be a dog and have fun chasing those ducks. it's like training a kid not to play with toys, not natural.

  • umm yea... my boxer would be going ape shit with those birds walkin right next to her..

She listens increadibly unless theirs some kinda varmant runnin by then its all over

  • Hmmmmm....I have a rescue boxer/pit and she hates squirrels. Will let anything go without even noticing, except for squirrels.

What a beautiful dog you have. I need to work with mine more.

  • 1980s cult music

  • you are truly amazing!

My boxers would be chasing those ducks before you could say hi.and chewing the cat if he was not fast enough.

  • lol mines do that to

  • beautiful brindle boxer, love them

  • Hihi, my dog would eat them all...

  • Mine would have already eat all of those ducks, and the cats would be in a tree traumatized...

  • Mine too! XD

  • mine to to !!!!!!

  • Truly AMAZING! My 4 month boxer is in training as we speak, I hope one day he can be like this one. Thanks for keeping my hopes up and running, I mean not that I was giving up but some days are brighter then others, but I still love him. Thanks. Chris and Little Big Bear.

  • 8-) nice

  • ♥

  • i have a 2 year old boxer and he is able to withstand stuff like that..if we're around but not cats except for my cat..he won't touch her cuz he knows he'll get his butt beat..but if im not around..he's already killed 1 kitten by accident/purpose..playing too hard with it and i found him with it but it was too late..:(

  • incredible and a real inspiration. I'd like to do this with my two boxers. Mya was kind of getting there before Dodge came along 4 months ago. They're from the same litter but we had Mya from 8wks and Dodge was 18mths when he came to us.

  • my boxer woud hav ate dos ducks jst lik dat !

we hav hens at my place , shes already killed one . we got her at a year old so we havent trained her... does anyone have any ideas how to train her not to attack the hens etc...?

  • Teach her to walk on a leash. Then walk her near the hens frequently. Teach her "leave it" and walk her near the hens. Teach her "watch me" and walk her near the hens. You get the picture.

Desensitize the dog to the hens (or any other animal. for that matter.)

  • Wonder if the Boxer dreamed of duck dinners for weeks after this.....

  • haha...probably!!!

  • what a fantastic dog! it just shows what can be achieved if you put in the time with your dog. people seem to think boxers are stupid when really they are highly intelligent and the dog of choice for the german police

  • awsome!!!... i got myself a 8 weeks boxer pup... can't w8 ti see if he's able to do that too hahahahha

  • im getting a 8 week old boxer pup next week =) im so exited!

  • Ok, getting the dog to sit still through this is nice but I'm really impressed how you get those cats to show up on cue!

  • This is a great dog! I don't think my Retriever/Chow mix could ever ignore any of that! I used to have a boxer and I truly agree with NinaMary23... my Rambo wouldn't be able to do that! This training is really amazing! I love those cats too! So sweet! I would spend money on training my dog like that!

  • Your Rambo would be able to remain calm with these sorts of distractions! I know because that's what we do. We have not met a dog that we could not train. Watch some of our other videos - all the dogs can learn self restraint. Why? Because they prefer being calm and relaxed, they just need to be taught that a human will be responsible for determining threats - so, they don't have to!

  • i have a boxer and that is truely stunning, mine would make those ducks regret living haha

  • mine would too..if he could do it and get away with it!!...

  • wow i am shocked! this is great, never would have thought it would be possible. hope for my boxer yet

    thanks

  • My boxer Mason does not have this control... that is awesome...

dazoogle . com we love boxers too!

  • Very impressive training! I run a boxer rescue in Utah. Nice work!

  • eğitici herkesin izlemesi lazım

  • cool boxer, cheers from germany.

  • yeah that is a nice boxer keep it up oh btw BOXERS ARE THE BEST

  • I can only HOPE that when my Boxer starts his traning this month, that he turns out like that boxer did... beautiful boxer btw

  • great job!dats wat i do wit my dogs but not profesionally like ya do it.i wish i lived in a ranch in america. i would be havin all da animals i want.we only hav a ranch in mexico wer da dogs need dis trainin

  • wow... remarkable. I wish mine was like that

  • Impressive! My boxer would have the cat by the throat! Although, I don't like to see boxers with clipped ears... :( They have such beautiful ears and there's no medical reason for doing it - it's not like their ears drip in their food or get matted or anything.

  • wow, very good job!!!

  • excellent! never been able to get my dog to be that controlled around other animals, how do you do it?

  • Thanks for the feedback. We employ exceptional Management, highly focused Socialization and Training. They are the three components of our very comprehensive canine education. You can read more at my website; darnfar dot com(they won't let me post an actual url in the comments section).

  • Oh my! I can only dream to have our behave that well! He's so good but when he sees our cat, all bets are OFF!

  • How do you train the cats and ducks let alone the dog???

  • I'm dropping mine off at your ranch!
