thanks. actually found another way using an open file dialog and a text box. this way you can specify your own file you want to open and then my.settings will store it. thanks! XD
I'm trying to startup a program, just as you did with your TUT. But I got a security problem: When im trying to launch the program it throws a filenotfoundexception, but i know the directory is correct. What I did is: making myself administrator and launch VB as administrator, but that didnt work even. I tried this:
1. Shell(path)
2. system.diagnostics.process.start(path)
and your way: attaching a process. nothing worked. Can anyone help me to solve this isue?

@Jawad170
You could add a button with a 'OpenFileDialog' function to set the programs path for you!
use the filter for (*.exe) file extentions only!
F1Fearce 2 years ago
and how do you do that? (Wondering for myself)
quickvidtutorials 2 years ago
Do a 'VB 2008 OpenFileDialog' youtube search to find the codes. there should be many of them.

SuperBenji2 3 years ago 3
Mine is not great either.
When I film it its fine but when uploaded its too brights, especially the Form BackColor is white in the video when uploaded not gray like normally.
