@buildthefarm sorry... forgot to reply w/ the holiday n' all... anything can be bad 'gone overboard'. it's something you can easily SEE. u kno an angry person by their anger.... a gossiper by their gossip & even a person w/ sarcasm....when u really 'think' about people... by their fruits you know them. of course easier to see w/ other people...the thing we havta get into the habit of is paying attn. to ourselves n getting that 'beam' out of our own eye.
Great video one. I can totally identify with those generational curses, those are Very hard to get free from. God has really helped me in that area through confession and having faith in His promises. It is a slow process but one that you can really see the power of God working in your life. Thank you for this video and may Jesus bless you.
@MrRepent Amen. Causes an awareness to only settle for God's best & journey down the path of true repentance. Gotta get those wedding clothes NICE : )
I believe Christians can be harassed and influenced by demonic spirits but not because of sins committed by others.
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
We have problems because we have pet sins we actually enjoy (in the flesh) and we refuse to surrender these areas of sin and walk in the light. 1 John 1:7
All sins were judged at the cross in Christ Jesus...
@rustysruger rusty.... i had generational spirits.... i was delivered of them.... the moment it happened my head was so clear.... i never knew all those thoughts & voices in my head were not me. i don't expect to be well-received because people do not understand what they have not experienced... but all i can do is attest that the Word is true & those scriptures are still in effect while others think they no longer apply.
is applying what Jesus did against God? does my teaching lead ppl away?
@rustysruger all i have is my experience (testimony) and the Word & then the fruit i bear. if i am not leading people to Jesus or if i am leading them to 'some other Jesus', then rottenness shall follow.
but if it proves good, then maybe there is more we can learn.
@freedoms01 I think we can agree on the fact that attacks from "the enemy" do come ,but i can find no solid "New Covenant" basis for them being caused by generational sin...Unless its original generational sin ( i.e.Adam& Eve)...
I can't account for your experience but as I'm sure you'll agree that our experiences must be tested by scripture..
How does generational sin mesh with the following texts? In announcing the new covenant would make with Israel, God says in Jeremiah 31:27-30
@rustysruger to know 'where' u r at... Mark 16:17-19 ... the last thing Jesus spoke before taking His seat... is this still true in it's entirety even now?
@freedoms01 Yes, I believe it is...Interesting that many newer translation either leave these passages out or cast doubt on them by claiming that don't come from reliable manuscripts...
@rustysruger yep, kill anything that will move us in2 the spirit.
k, to ans. some ?... the Jer. verse... i dunno w/ the context of israel, could it b the curse they imposed upon themselves w/ the 'let His blood be upon us and our children'?... that's what bears w/ me. gen. stuff is more than sin, you can c it w/ sickness and diseases as well. we have 2 question enemy access if we have a good and loving God-- according 2 scripture... i've 2 do more of these vids that go deeper, patience plz
that was quite an explanation! thank you so much for the illustration its a great learning tool:)

Read Paul's dilemma : Rom 7:14-25
Paul's problem was his flesh ,just like us.
