  • walls of jericho its like mix of maiden melodics and ride the lightning thrashines

  • Just one thing, Kiske is 19 years old in this video!!! Forthose who compare Kiske to Dio.

  • Wow, to compare this guy to Dio? Unreal. He can hit the high notes, but the rest is just shouting, no sustain or color to his voice, he couldn't hold Dio's jock strap.

  • ME PERDI DE ESE CONCIERTO, EXELENTE INTRO

  • Holy shit... I know Kai wrote this master piece.... but Kiske just handed this song it's ass.

  • bons tempos!!!

  • This song was made for Hansen's voice, that's a fact and we cant deny it, but, anyway , Kiske rocks.

  • Link is dead(

  • Kiske is the best singer of all times, but this song is only for the KAI's devil voice

  • There are more very good singers from that time and still

    watch?v=2n6jA4pVgDc

    watch?v=5N_VgD8hfYo

  • Classic !!

One of the most incredible Metal Voices!!.

  • I think Kai sings this better... But Michi is the VOICE ..

  • in this video you can see that they were really friends, now its just

kiske/hansen.. maybe a hansen/weikath friendship for money in hellish rock tour, and markus/weikath

anyway the escence of helloween its kai hansen, and kai + kiske in unisonic and gamma ray, its fucking amazing!

  • @marroquinmota jajajajajajajajajajjajajajajajajajja xd

  • i just had about 23 musical orgasms

  • Jesus, I can't believe a commenter here actually tried to compare Kiske to Dio. Kiske isn't even on the same galaxy as Dio.

  • @wtglb dios is the greatest heavy metal singer (i dont mean all heavy metal i mean heavy metal like sabbath or rainbow)

and kiske is the best in power metal, no comparison, differents styles

  • @sonnic1995 From a purely vocal talent standpoint, Kiske cannot compare, doesn't matter what kind of song he sings.

  • @wtglb i agree, that voice its unique

  • fgsfgsfgfhdgfhghdghdfgjghjfhjhjdhjdhjd My head against the keyboard in the intro.....

  • ingo is such a overlooked drummer and hes fallen in the shadows ... he was a freaking AWESOME drummer !!!

  • I want THIS Helloween back! There is any actual band that remind this phase of the Helloween?

  • @rafadelboni Unisonic?

  • @rafadelboni Gamma ray is the only real one i can think of they have Kiske in a lot of their songs.

  • @edwinalex387 tay loco...master of ring, time of the oath, the dark ride,7 sinners...temas where the rain grows, power, take me home, salvation, before the war,mr torture, are you metal...etc... de echo prefiero helloween con deris que gamma ray...

weikath es un gran compositor tambien

PERO SIN DUDA ALGUNA ESTA ES LA EPOCA DORADA

  • A forgotten era. But memories never die. This line-up was my favorite. Great upload!

  • This concert is amazing i have this on DVD! Great N1 UploaD !

  • oh my god , Michael Kiske was the best vocals in Helloween , Kai Hansen was the 2.

  • kai hansen is the best singer in helloween.

  • seen these guys ONE time and it was on the MTV Headbangers ball tour w/ anthrax and exodus , it was just awesome!!! and was really cool is i went to where there buses were and i got there autographs, these guys were really cool!!!

  • my god! Kiske is a monster.

this scream on the begining is really untouchable

  • Kia has a lot of talent and I like his style, but Kiske is UNTOUCHABLE!!!

  • I want KISKE back

  • yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Kai and only Kai should sing this song...

  • Can you imagine the Walls Of Jericho album with Kiske on the vocals? Not that Kai isn't good but that would be 'cause pure orgasm to my ears.

  • Only one person sang this song better than kiske and that was the guy standing next to him who wrote it.

Kai is still making amazing music today. He's the one who should get the praise.

kiske wouldn't even have this song to sing if hansen didn't write it.

  • Ingo WAS amazing. Awesome drummer. Uli was a great replacement, too.

  • Best Metal Singer Live and Studio PERIOD!

  • Best Metal Singer On Live and Studio PERIOD!

  • @OathBird Idid see Iron Maiden in te 80's and althoug for me Bruce is God he couldn't sing a single song as recorded, and most of the times he couldn't sing a single high note. Just look on youtube for videos of somewhere on tour and others from 83 or even 82. Bruce sings nowadays much better than in the 80's

  • @OathBird Are you fucking kidding me? I love Bruce but he is nowhere as good as Kiske.. bruce can't get as high as he does on record.

  • @scatmanwfm

Its not important that he doesnt get high. His voice itself is better by my opinion and his lyrisc

  • @OathBird No it's not, Bruce is sloppy in comparison to people like Michael Kiske and Geoff Tate. The amount of talent that oozes from them is 1000 times greater then Bruces.

  • La hostia; anti-canteras

  • Great video! A shame Kiske didn't do a studio version of this. I love this song, but can't stand Kai Hansens vocals.

  • @tjcobra666 If you really can't stand them, go to hell!

  • @Elitarform Eat. My. Shorts.

  • Kiske + Hansen = best helloween and power metal ever

  • Kiske Muito bom mesmo! Mas esta é a música do Kai!! Kai COMANDA!! Kai Metal Master!!!!!

  • ALL IS WELL WITH THE METAL WORLD WITH THE RETURN OF MICHAEL KISKE AND HIS NEW BAND UNISONIC........SOUNDS BETTER IN 2010 THAN EVER.....THE BEST METAL VOICE IS BACK.....UNISONIC......LOOK THEM UP ON YOUTUBE AND GOOGLE THEM......UNISONIC......PEACE...

  • KISKE>gayckinson

  • where are photos from this show?

  • Classic!

  • kiske is god

  • no words...

  • fuckin god, kiske is the man period!!

  • ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!

  • Dude.. Im in tears here. :'(

  • Kiske is an awsome singer he does always are great job but at ride the sky i prefer kai.

  • me too. :)

  • kiske and kai please back!!!

  • I would of liked to hear them dust off the old classic Gorgar. Awesome, a song about a wicked pinball machine obsession , lol!

  • damn he's a good singer

  • 2:27 OMG!! EPIC!!

  • magia pura que desaparecio hace muchos años

  • 5:43 haha cool

  • pretty strange...hansen seems to be the only guitarrist with a more body language suited for the music...the other guitarrist seem to be moving the guitars up and down like sticks as if they really dont understand the music...just saying strange huh...

  • what a flawless live performance, Ride the sky is hands down one of the best metal songs ever

  • good speed..keep on Helloween!!!

kai hansen is the best singer for hellowee..

  • Helloween is so good. Kiske, what a voice, man

  • Sick. This is live! bootleg! no overdubs! Kiske is amazing...

  • Kiske's voice is sooo pure!!! Excellent!!!! Ride the sky!!!!

  • Give me wings to fly!

  • simplemente increible no sepodia esperar menos *-*

  • but i said you know what i mean :D i hope you saw that and realizes that way as i!!/!&)(/!=)!

  • best guitar solo in the history of power metal *_*

  • best just the best men nothing else men .....the BEST

  • kiske!!!!!!!!!! *_*

  • lmao 5:10 kiske walks into markus

  • Kai with a Dinky? Or Ibanez?

  • kiske amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • After Kai left, Helloween was Helloween no more. Kai was the heart of Helloween! Though the rest stayed, I think Kai was the most important member of the band. Ofcourse they kicked ass even after Kai left and they kick it till now !

  • fuckin Ingo, one of the best double bass drummers ever. B4 you start bashing me with George Kollias etc. Its not just speed kiddies. He can play double bass effortlessly like Gene hoglan and charlie benante. a natural on double bass

  • dude I finally found a person that thinks like me. Believe it or not, I really fucking hate double pedal, I think its the worse thing ever created. But Ingo is my favourite double bass drummer of all time. And my fav drummer of all time is nicko mcbrain of iron maiden

  • Jeez, to think of all the hardships between these guys in the early 90s. They looked so great on stage together back then, they were enjoying themselves greatly.

  • kiske owns this song. i like kai but he is better at guitar and song writing then singing.

  • Amazing performance, but I prefer by far Kai singing this song.

  • no son ciertos, es bulo

  • i miss mikie

  • aaaahhh old time kiske and kai hanse yeeeaaah!! very very good

  • KISKE THE BEST HEAVY METAL VOICE EVER ( TRY THIS DICKinson ) LOL

  • i dont know about that. Kiske can sing loud and clear but i think both dickinson and halford are better at nailing certain notes

  • Definitively not. Kiske is the best singer by far and better than dickinson for sure.

  • I've heard the ending of "where eagles dare" as well as most of iron maiden songs and I feel the same way. Although Dickinson's voice is great, its not even close to Kiske's voice.

Why don't you listen to the end of "eagle fly free", "keeper of the seven keys", "victim of fate","giants", etc. I could go on with more songs that show that Kiske is clearly the better singer.

  • well, thanks for at least taking my advice. I love Kiske too. What do you think of Deris? I think he's awesome.

  • I like Deris, he is good. He can't be compared with Kiske or Dickinson because his singing is totally different in my opinion.

  • Dude, I love Bruce, but c'mon. NO ONE touched Kiske in the 80s.

No one touched Ingo either. . .

  • @JerryEtherson KISKE IS THE BEST

  • @JerryEtherson You are fucking right about that !!! i still dont think any one is even close to Kiske....saw him at sweden rock. one of the best shows ive seen and his vocals was killing me so great it was....all the high tones still there

  • @JerryEtherson as better in the 80's

  • @OathBird Either you're trolling or tone deaf. Dio wasn't that good, and Ian Gillian shouldn't even be brought up. Rob Halford is a god but also has a different style of singing. And Ozzy just yelled into the mic. No talent required to do that...

  • @Sjamsucks

Than simply you don't have any fuckin' ears. Yelled into the mic? You've never heard him. Dio wasn't that good? Dude go home and listen to some metal music and rock you techno boy. And talent? dude in comparison of Bruce against Kiske is not talent just voice. Talent is small difference for Bruce (he write much better songs) And yea voice is for Kiske. Talent because he have voice? Dude don't make me laugh and stop saying such a bullshit.

  • @Sjamsucks

Btw. saying that that one vocalist sucks etc. (ofcourse only in popular case) Is fuckin' trolling kid. Everyone got their tastes, saying that one suck is lack of brain that you show completely. If he is popular that means he got voice that get through different people ears. If you're gonna complain about that just die idiot.

  • @Sjamsucks Probably just a bad troll. I can't stand annoying fucks who try to talk down amazing talented performers like Kiske because of their own personal opinion like somehow if he spews enough bullshit Kiske won't have an amazing voice. I mean everyone has there opinion but seriously? Ozzy...? The guy didn't have a range at all....

  • Comment removed

  • @scatmanwfm

Never talked down Kiske. You misunderstood me then. I think he is fucking amazing, and one of best singers in history of music, but I don't think he is acutal number one. Don't get me wrong :O

  • @OathBird You have a funny way of seeing things! Dio and Halford are great singers, but as far as technique is concerned Kiske beats them both! Gillan is just ok and Ozzy shouldn't even be mentioned together with these guys. As for Bruce's 85 live era, that was one of his worst live periods ever. Especially the Rock In Rio concerts. For proof that Kiske was/is much better live check this video: watch?v=R5TZsXePDzU

  • Comment removed

  • @apati80

Well funny maybe it is haha?. I don't think about technique much, more about voice so you're right. Hm 85's worst? By me it was one of his better. Best was with Brave New World. Ozzy yes, shouldn't be, but i'm talking more about voice than technique. But still come on. Kiske is really great and I love him too, but I don't think better than Bruce. Both are equall let's say ;)

  • @OathBird Bruce's voice was pretty tired during 1985 from the extensive touring. It is evident on Live After Death. He was much better during the Piece Of Mind tour and during the '99-'01 (Brave New World) era. For me Kiske is technically a better vocalist, but both singers are amazing and 2 of my favorites...you should watch the "video comparison" between them (link on previous comment). By the way, Ozzy was very good in Black Sabbath but he is far from a great vocalist.

  • @apati80

Hm, maybe I just saw a good video with him in 85. Ozzy by me is one of best vocalists. Yes you said already and I admit it, he's not great with technique, but his voice is so... amazing, I just love it. And ofcourse with BS, he is doing good by himself, but many songs lost this magic... :) 2 Best? Well I can't pick the best of best but if, I would say that You have to consider Olivier Hartmann, and Jorn Lande :)

  • @apati80 ye, but Dio is the best of all time, more emotion in his voice

  • @apati80 Hey don't fuck with Bruce.

  • @apati80 i don't know, halford to me was better, but kiske is an EXTREMELY close second. 1985 live in texas "the sentinel"--judas priest. look it up and have your mind blown. halford blew out his voice so he's not nearly as great as he once was, so i'd agree that CURRENTLY Kiske is better

  • Comment removed

  • @apati80 "Kiske beats Halford and Dio, gillan is just ok and Ozzy shouldn't even be mentioned together with these guys, he is just yelling into the mic, anyone can do that" eeh.. have you even been listening to these singers, do you realize that Ozzy/Dio/Gillan was some of these guys that created the hard rock and heavy metal, without them there wouldn't even probably be a Helloween, Kiske is great but why talk about these legends like that.

  • @PontusOzzyA Sorry I never meant to offend anyone. All these singers are outstanding, unique and favorites of mine. If you knew some things about vocal "technique" then you would agree with me. The only one who could objectively be compared to Kiske is Halford. Technically speaking Ozzy is the worst of the bunch. Gillan was amazing but lacked in that department compared to others. My old comment was purely with regards to "vocal technique" not overall opinion & as you see many agree

  • @apati80

this is even better. Ofcourse Ozzy is worst technically, but he's te biggest overall. If there weren't Ozzy, there prolly wouldn't be Hellowen, Metallica etc. etc. Besides you never heard any vocal range either of Halford either of Gillan or Dio. thats why you say Gillan lack. Gillan outstand Kiske -.- You show of fwe perforamnces of Kiske that never toured almost, just sitted singing once in a year, while rest toured their asses off, and used their voices much.

  • @OathBird Black Sabbath's sound was a major influence to metal, but Ozzy didn't inspire other vocalists in a big scale like Halford did. Halford had an amazing vocal range, Gillan not so much as he used a lot of falsetto. Dio was simply great. Kiske's performances from the video link are mostly from 1987 to 1992, a period when he toured a lot. Plant and especially Mercury were amazing but never mentioned here, so why complain? Plant lost his voice very early though due to bad technique

  • @apati80

Gillan not so much? LOL, again I tell you - hear it again. before you say something KNOW anything about it. Ozzy solo creation inspired much too. "Simply" great Dio? "Simply" poor Kiske. Because you say he is the best, when he is far behind "the best" thats why I complain. and you put a man who had nice voice, and good technique but is doing nothing with that. if he toured HALF time that truly greatest vocalists did - he now would be worse than Deris, not to mention the rest.

  • @OathBird This is my last reply as there is no point to continue this. Gillan used his falsetto (fake voice) a lot to reach higher notes (Child In Time) and thus didn't have such a wide vocal range, compared to Halford, Tate and Kiske. Totally disagree about Ozzy. IMO Kiske is better "with regards to vocal technique" when compared to Gillan, Ozzy, Dio & Dickinson, listen: watch?v=CjrqYZ-AQwE. Dio was still amazing and one of the best metal voices ever! If Kiske toured a lot, who knows?

  • @apati80

so what if he used falsetto? ... he still did a much better job. falsetto count in vocal range too fyi -.- watch?v=qbtCo6z8GHo compare the age, compare the touring again, cause you seem to be blind, or cant read. and again and again. Kiske is only a good singer, because of his voice. That was barely used. Dickinson in Kiske age after touring his ass off is still much greater. watch?v=COvCPJGjaiE. Halford still does Victim Of Changes like a boss.

  • @OathBird There are some things you don't understand and that's why there is no point in continuing this discussion. For example, using falsetto to reach very high notes is much easier that using chest or head voice. Thus whoever doesn't use falsetto for the highs is technically a better singer. Today both Bruce & Halford sound strained (forced) & Halford also sounds raspy. Bruce's screams are certainly not powerful anymore & amazing composer with the help of Harris, Smith & RoyZ sure

  • @apati80

you don't understand most of things either. are you blind and deaf, or you just have fun with being such an idiot? WHY BRUCE SOUND STRAINED? cause he T - O - U - R. why kiske don't? cause he D I D N T. learn to read. Bruce and Halford used mostly chest/head voice during best years, but when you tour on and on its obvious captian ICantReadAndThink that youre going to sound worse. Bruce CO-WROTED all stuff that is amazing, with him mostly picking up the subject or starting the project.

  • @OathBird This is going nowhere. You can't convince me about technical issues & about vocalists I have been listening for the past 20 years. Bruce used his falsetto a lot since 1982. He lost his voice during 1985 (Live After Death) & during 1993. He was never known for having 1 of the best techniques. Sure he sounds strained today mostly because of the touring. "Co-wrote" could also mean nothing. So supposedly Maiden's classics still sound great but this doesn't watch?v=rXSFdxM2NBk ?

  • @apati80

remember tomorrow from ullevi is much better than this future world song. Bruce did not only better that day, but he's still older and after lot of touring, comparing that original future world is much better than one you send. Bruce during most notable screams and high notes of his was using chest voice even in BNW/DOD tours. on SBIT he still did great job, but his voice was little bit out of tune, and he seemed tired. Kiske even with doing nothing sounds a lot worse than normally

  • @OathBird I just checked your channel to find out that you 're a Andi Deris fan (this explains your opinions). Remember Tomorrow in Ullevi sounded better? To me even the A Real Dead One version, which was worse than the studio 1, sounded better. Once again, 'co-wrote' could just mean the lyrics, a riff, a verse...Even back in the 80's Bruce's screams in NOTB, Wrathchild, Aces High & Rime were falsetto, today they just sound thinner & less powerful. No point in continuing this. Goodbye
