why you bringing god when we are talking of cadets. and this id not just now that leaders don't go to battle. in ww1 and ww2 and other wars around that timeline was very rare to see a leader personally go into the battle.
War will never end in our lifetime. That is for sure. What one thinks is possible and what actually is possible can be two very different things. I could say that it is impossible that our government would send me to war. I'm to old.

I often say that it is impossible for me to stop smoking. Yet many people have stopped smoking. Be careful of what you chose to believe. Often times as humans we are our own worse enemy. Our thinking gets us into trouble.
Why should smoking be illegal? I call my brother a neo Nazi anti smoker. He says that he won't come to B.C to see me because I smoke. Meanwhile he has no problem breathing the Toronto air. Meanwhile my brother and sister-in-law and functioning alcoholics. Also over the years people were exposed to a lot of chemical that could have made them ill. My family practically swam in Ultra Roundup and today they say that it was a derivative of Agent Orange.

Many illnesses are hereditary. In the last five years I have known several people that got cancer and never smoked a day in their lives. I was never allowed to smoke in their homes. non smokers say they don't like the smell and yet have no problem with the smelly air in Hamilton, Sarina or Prince George.
Alcohol is the worst legal drug on the market. All over the world people are addicted to alcohol and most domestic disputes are associated with drinking.How many people have died from drinking and driving. Yet no one wants to make alcohol illegal. Now kids do not smoke cigarettes but instead smoke dope and do crack and meth.
alcohol is not the worse drug. smoking is. alcohol second and fast food third. and that is just the category of current legal drugs. hash, coccaine and al is worse. marijuana can only be ok for medical issues.
Teens believe that marijuana is a healthy alternative to smoking cigarettes and yet they used to say that one joint is equal to ten cigarettes. Now marijuana has so much THC because of hydroponic growing that it is traded on par for cocaine.
Now the medical field is saying that people that are only 30 to 40 years old will soon be taken care of in old age homes because they screwed themselves up with Meth and Crack.
To me it makes more sense to look into all addictions and find solutions. I am a very addictive person and hope that my children do not follow my path. Educating children is a start.

Here in British Columbia we are all supposed to were red on Fridays in honor of our soldiers in Afghanistan.
