I heard some weird little 'breaks' in your voice.. Easily best high bass I've heard.. BUT I believe you should work on your technique a BIT more... It's not as good as it could be.. You're singing straight from the throat... So nasal, no nothing. It's a BEAUTIFUL sound, but I hears A LOT of cracks in there!!

Though one tip....The last line "At last, my arm is complete again" is supposed to have all the force behind it....Extreeeemely loud and more like a shout. HOWEVER as I said, you have incredible power behind your version!

This is actually quite harsh. The higher notes sounded beautiful, but be careful with the lower ones. Also, watch scooping into notes. All in all, though, this was very powerful and I believed the emotion.

Personally, I think Sweeney Todd is totally sane...I know it sounds crazy haha but I completely understand how he gets to where he is by the end of the show. This song, though, isn't angry. To me, it's almost a love song right up until the end--That's where the crazy starts.

Ha! Thanks. Crazy delusional was what I was going for. I figured--why be sad when you can be angry? And if I'm angry enough to butcher people, I'm certainly not going to sound clean and pretty.

I kind of found it interesting how, even though your voice is obviously a baritone, you were able to get out the higher notes better than the lower ones. It seems as though you're rumbling most of the lower pitches/parts out and it doesn't really sound like singing, I suppose. Especially the beginning. Once you died out on a lower pitch that could have been held out longer.

The long tones, however, on the higher notes and your vibrato was quite what I would imagine an ideal Sweeney would be

Not a good choice for your repertoire, with so many songs out there for a strong baritone voice, why would you pick this one? The dramatics you tried to illiterate just come off as straining. Waay to flat, dynamics are all off.
