Sound like you have used a MP3 as your audio track. You should convert it to an Aiff file before dropping it in your timeline within FCP. The audio seems to pop throughout on my playback.

@danmartland im new to final cut express and i could not get that popping to stop!
anyway thanks for the comment, jst upgraded to final cut pro now and it did not do that with my video(hong kong)
