  • Put in this on Ferarri

  • Im assuming it isnt just the average store bought isopropyl alcohol, the 70% kind.

  • @TheDragonoxx It's 99.9% anhydrous isopropyl. Still the same chemical, and the engine would run on 70%, though at a lower level of performance.

  • @bbrockert You can buy 99% stuff at the store... does that extra .9% make that much of a difference?

  • @bbrockert I guess it hardly matters... if your buying liquid Oxygen... might as well go all-out with 99.9% alcohol!

  • how much did it cost per 1 test?

  • OMG i turned the volume up because i thought that i just could hear the sound and them PPHHEEEWWWWWWW blown speakers...

  • how hot??

  • What was the delivered specific impulse here?

  • thats a good soldering iron

  • So how many pounds would the total unit weigh? I'd love to make my own x-1

  • it's that the sound isnt sync or your are recording very far away

  • sync your sound.

  • do you work with solid rocket motors also?

  • LOLOL

  • Looks like a miniature

  • There is something about this video that looks like stop animation.

  • pound foot, a unit of energy or work

the equivalent SI unit is the newton meter aka joule

  • deu um aroto no final kkk.

  • I'd really like to hear your arguments for this unfunded statement ;-)

  • pretty sad that with all that fire and smoke i can squat more than that rocket engine lol!!!

  • I think that's per square foot not 240 lb total.

  • lol than maybe you want to be the new propulsion system for the space shuttle?

  • I believe it stands for pund force(discription)

  • That was fucking incredible!!!!!!turn your sound up

    that's pretty close too?

  • TO MARS!!!

  • Do you work on these rockets and what are these going to be used for?Cool video.I hope you guys are making commercial space travel soon lol :)

  • Yep, rocket science is my day job. We're working first toward launching suborbital payloads into space (100kg to 100km) and possibly flying people later.

  • @bbrockert thats so cool bring me just kidding but sounds really awesome I only launch model rockets

  • poor metal plate

  • It's actually concrete blocks that are getting toasted. The engine will burn through a metal plate much faster.

  • @bbrockert the support for the concrete plate looks unsteady..the place where the diagonal plate joins the I beam support structure.

    it looks quite flimsy.

  • Great!! Thanks for sharing!
