  • This is perfect thanks a lot man

  • I get the creation of the instruments, in fact I've replicated what you've done a few times...

It would be wonderful if you could show novice's such as myself how to create basic beats, etc... I have a terrible time with adjusting tempo.

  • Okay that makes sense. Thanks!

  • There we go.. thanks

  • I don't really like that snare tho...

  • Just do the same thing and then u will understand it ;)

  • yay, took me a while but I just programmed the whole track the same as yours,

    thanks for the tutorial man.

will look out for more form you.

  • Gizmo, It probably means your sample is too small. When you hit "create new sample" it should ask you to enter a sample size. The default is 100, but you need at least a thousand to be able to hear most non looped samples. at least that's my experience.

  • does anyone know why when i play my sample , and its on "no Loop" then it wont play the hole thing :( ?

  • how does he get all the detail when he's drawing the second and third samples?

  • nevermind my last comment, what is the bit that yu writei nat the end to make it go fast? :)

    x

  • okayyy so milky isn't playing anything i type it, like when i hit "q" for example to make the bass drum beat, it then doesn't play it.

I've tried saving the sounds and they work fine in the sample ed but they won't play when i click play song :/

    help anyone?

    cool vid :)

  • Try the bi-directional button :)

  • Froget about my last comment. I've got my answer...

  • where do you get those?

  • Can you please tell me where i can download basic instrument sounds ? I've downloaded samples on "freesound" but i can only open them in the sample list, not in the instrument list (even when it's a simple snare shot)...

  • try EZdrummer

  • omg.

    that was sick though.

you hear it slow and your like... thatd sound pretty sweet fast.

then BAM he plays it fast and you got some D&B shit.

  • These tutorials this guy makes is useless. He goes really quick and doesn't even explain what he is doing.

  • Indeed.

  • @GreatYeldar what is there to say?

  • @GreatYeldar not useless to me, but thats because i am fluent with trackers :P

  • this program is fuckin' impossible! SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW IT WORKS!!!!!!!

  • google is your friend

  • I figured it out

  • It's not impossible, use google, read the help file. Open up other people's .xm files and learn how it is put together.

  • nm i got it xD. Click dsp rather than Wav.

  • how do you play a sample only once without clicking the Wav button, in which repeatedly plays it.

  • Hey I get most of the tutorial, but what did he do at the very end to make the beat different? I understand everything else.

  • insomprehensible :(

  • mclovin

  • im converting from NitroTracker DS to milky, it just seems more pure, hand-drawing the sounds instead of having to use imported samples.

  • DUDE CAN YOU PLEASE do a video and explain exactly what youre doing?!! I cant figure out a few things, and so I cant make these sounds!!!

  • Nice work, I use FT2... Milky tracker does rock though. I like the beat you made.

Do you ever do syncopated beats?

  • nevermind what they say, that was really cool sounding at the end, all it needs now is a wicked synth part. nice tutorial since im about to start using this but have used renoise

  • Awful drumsounds. But at least the principle comes more clear to beginners, I am sure. Still, I'd like to see a tutorial video of how to make really great, impacting and solid-sounding chip-drums with SID, preferrably.

  • It's a bit smarter to generate those sounds instead of drawing them, don't you think?

  • drawing them iS WHAT generates them!

  • I concur. It gives a very original sound especially if you're able to store those peaks and use them over again to establish a certain sound.

  • Man, thank you. I searched something like that.

  • Dude put in some talking I had no idea wut you jus did!

  • Sorry, I figured it out.

  • I can't really tell what you've done to make those dialog boxes appear. Also, I don't have a section underneath the tracker where you draw the waveforms. Any suggestions?

  • It's Milkytracker, see description.

  • wgat program is ?
