  • actually royal purple is way down the list it does not meet/have all certifications look at oil analysis pennzoil platinum is one of the best oils out there

  • This is NOT "hi-res".

  • Currently using Amsoil in my engine & transmission, love the stuff. Had it in the engine for about 4,700 miles now and still going strong, and hasn't burnt a drop. It also seems to make my Honda transmission shift a bit smoother too, as they're a bit jerky by nature with the Z-1.

  • This is a program where you can start your own dealership. You need to go through a sponsorship and there are many on the Internet.

  • In 1998 I gave in to an AMSOIL-selling friend and went with their "10,000-mile" lube and filter on my '96 Dodge van with only 30K miles on it. After 5K miles, the engine light would stay on at idle. Not for my workvan! I dumped it, put in Valvoline and a new filter and never, ever had pressure issues again. I'll stay "dinosaur", thanks.

  • I agree that Amsoils Marketing is not the best. The fact that people think Royal Purple and Lucas are good products proves my point.

    Be informed about real "synthetics."

    "Got Synthetic?"

  • royal purple is good stuff. no its not fully synthetic and they have stated that but it out performs all the top FULLY synthetic oils. however i still think its #2 next to Amsoil.

  • You may not like M L M, but most of the time these "pyramid schemes" are indeed selling top of the line products. Furthermore, Amsoil was on the market well before its creator opted to use the MLM for a means of distribution.

  • One acronym, three letters.

    M L M

    What do they mean?

    Multi Level Marketing

What do they mean to me?

    Pyramid scheme.

Go buy some good full synthetic oil, keep your paper towels in the kitchen, and give your used lube oils to your favorite diesel owner to dispose of for you. You'll be happier, richer, and better looking!
