When u say "Crossfire" in grafic-card subjects, u mean that it is a dual grafic-card (2 grafic-cards), rigth?

Crossfire means that you put 2 GPU'S of the same type , in this case HD 4850, in a serial circuit.

Cross fire X is when you put 3 or more GPU's in a curcuit.

It is the same with Nvidia GPU's , but it is called SLI then.

I need your help xD, the power supply you have has 2 8pin pci express cables or 1 6pin and 1 8 pin cables, because I has a problem with regards the power supply as my vga Gainward HD4850gs requires 1 8 pin cable per cga (so I need 2 8 pin cables) and the power supply only has 1.8 pin and 1 6 pin. In advance do you think that a adapter from 6 pin to 8 cable is recommended?

@thomasleurmusic CrossFire is when you buy two of the same video cards and connect them together using a special bridge provided in the boxes. ATI calls it CrossFire while Nvidia calls it SLI. By connecting the two cards you get double the performance

Not talking to you. Obviously your rig would beat mine (not by a large margin, crossfire doesn't scale well in most games).  But, the guy with the Q9400 would have a hard time with me because my 4870 is OC'd and my Phenom II blows the Q9400 out of the water.
