  • try useing wallmarts battery powered cristmas lights! u will find it simple and fast, with a few tiewraps your done RIDE!

  • To all people concerned about joint/circuit durability,

all of my current projects are made in the following way:

most of wires are covered by heat shrink tubing.

everything else and exposed joints are covered by Epoxy glue.

By doing this circuits are protected against mechanical damage, water, low temperature conditions etc.

I want to say thanks for all constructive criticism and suggestions.

  • Pretty cool thing yeah :D

  • Gay. Gayer than helmets, fixed gear bikes with flat handlebars and reflectors combined.

  • @cjp2k9 has trouble expressing himself because of all the nasty cocks stuck in his mouth. He does do a service though: he gives free blow jobs to the homeless men around town. He rides his bike with no helmet, no lights and NO SEAT because he likes the way it feels. His nasty asshole is big like a tuba from all the butt fucking he did as a child, so he eagerly gives blow jobs to anyone who won't kick his ass. Oh, and his mother is a whore.

  • u can try fo pui heatshrink tube on yout led terminal leaving just a bit uncovered that bit u will solder

and on the other terminal put it on the wire and cover the solder joint too :)

this way u will protect those terminals from corosion :D

  • hey

could you post the circuit please?

  • those look like zener diodes

  • Well, yes, there is one Zener diode. It works like a voltage regulator in my circuit. Because I was using rechargeable battery to power the circuit I had to use low dropout voltage regulator. It provides stable voltage to the LEDs and protects rechargeable battery.

  • Cool man

  • thats great, i love it

    thanks for that video :*

  • that nice idea for the night bikers from são paulo, brazil. hehe

  • What is the music?

  • Thanks for that. Excellent.

  • i lovbe it. just one question.... does it stand up to the weather?

  • I was wondering the same thing. I doubt it. having exposed soldering points (if i saw what i think i saw) wont last one heavy downpour, not to mention the cold snaps of winter (ive experienced -20*F while riding 20mph in NYC winters...makes all electrical cable brittle).

  • After 3 years of exposure to the cold weather conditions (2 years the 2nd wheel)

    between -30*C (-22*F) and -20*C (-4*F)

circuit is in a working condition, solder is unaffected and joints are OK but LED terminals heavily corroded.

while spokes and solder are resistant to corrosion, diode leads are not.

  • sweet

  • Can't wait till they make something like this for motorcycle wheels, talk about being visible at night! nice job
