I'm making these videos as a way of learning to use the editing software, so I try to get consent from whoever owns the copyright whether it be Shimmer or Smartmark Video and if they want it removed then I take it down.

I have been given the OK by DP to leave it up but will probably steer clear of Shimmer matches for the time being, which kind of fucks up the LuFisto anthology I'm putting together but thems the breaks.

Dp really doesn't like it when people use Shimmer footage without his express permission. I would ask him before you get DMCA'ed.
