I grew up with my Mother adoring Elvis. She played his music everyday that I can remember, or so it seemed that way. She had every album he ever released. Now that my Mother and Elvis are gone, I look at his old performances and till this day, NO ONE HAD MORE STAGE PRESENCE AND DOMINATION PERFORMING. I can't believe how much he loved to perform for his fans. He still brings goose-bumps to my skin every time I hear him and see him. I hope he is performing in Heaven.....

i love this this performance, even thought not perfect, it hits my heart. Elvis was an important artist in my then young parents lives. They would play his albums and stop them periodically to write the lyrics so my dad could try to play the songs on his guitar. My dad died in 1993 at 49. I hope he is playing with Elvis.

The American Historic Association...which does the most exhaustive research for historical purpose concludes that Elvis's musical influences were as follows...Number one: Gospel, Number two: Country, Number three blues & rhythm and blues. Sorry, guys this isn't Elvis. It's Ryan Pelton. He's a very good "Elvis" and he has a band and travels around playing Elvis songs. I just saw him at Soaring Eagle Casino in Michigan last Wednesday. Besides, American Idol wasn't around in 1968 lol. I mean Kelly Clarkson was the first Idol and she is like 25 or something.

I was 7y when he died, i grew up in Memphis, and I listened to the radio that day in my parents room and cried all day. I was so blessed to see him in concert a few years before. I remember stilling on my dads lap so I could see him better at the end of the floor row. I was hoping he would come down so I could give him a kiss. I loved that he gave kisses. No one else ever did that. RIP.
