  • can you link the picutre, please? i want that for my desktop :)

  • The music sounds like tron

  • Alex Kingston's voice is so flawless -3

  • Interesting that no one mentions any of the previous doctors... Say Tom Baker? William Hartnell? Paul Mcgann?

  • @dynagirlsdaddy Baker used to be my fave. At the time being, I could describe me as a tenth's fan. But McGann? Really? I know that the scenario was awful and he did what he could, but then how can you appreciate him? What I'm trying to say is that he never had the chance to offer to the Doctor Who persona, so how can one appreciate him that much? No offense to the actor here!

  • @Phaedrusgr Check out the Audio series Mcgann's been doing. If you count up all of his Doctor who audio plays, he's logged more time than any other Doctor. He's really grown into the part, and made it his own. Check 'em out. They're good.

  • @dynagirlsdaddy I heard something about them, but to be honest, I never thought they'd be that good! I'll study my lesson and come back prepared! Promise.

  • @Phaedrusgr A good start would be to track down the remake of "shada" with Mcgann and Lala ward back as Romana. They took the audio play and animated it. The animation isn't that good, but hear the performances.... Mcgann ROCKS! I THINK me and my buddy found it on bbc.com.

  • @dynagirlsdaddy Thanks for the advice! I hope he doesn't say he's half-time lord, half-human in his series/animation etc! Course, I don't blame him for that awful line...We always had a discussion with a whovian friend of mine concerning McGann. He used to say that he could become a magnificent Doctor, I always remained a little bit skeptical about it. Time to see, Who's wrong. To be honest, I hope I was wrong, cause that would mean more cool Doctor for me!

  • @Phaedrusgr As far as I've been able to tell, it's never mentioned. My friend found a box set of the audio plays on amazon, but it was a best-of... and VERY expensive. But it might be found elsewhere cheaper... could at least get the ball rolling.

  • ‘Demons run

‘Night will fall and drown the sun

‘When a good man goes to war

‘Friendship dies and true love lies

‘Night will fall and the dark will rise

‘When a good man goes to war

‘Demons run but count the cost

‘The battle’s won but the child is lost

  • Each Doctor has their own advantages and benefits. Eccleston really breathed new life into the doctor and established that for all the fun he has the stuff he has seen can start to weigh on you. Tennant had a flawless dichotomy between the weary old man and the childish nature of the Doctor. I've never seen someone so young so good at being old. Tennant is the most conflicted, and probablly deepest doctor I've seen. And Smith really showed what happens when the Doctor let's himself go.

  • @Ruach I was agreeing with what you said up until "lets himself go," and then I was overwhelmed by a mental image of Matt Smith's Doctor balding and with a beer belly, swinging his sonic screwdriver, groaning, "Oh, what's the POINT anymore?"

  • Tom Baker was the best doctor

  • @DarknessRexa Rainbow Dash is the best pony.

  • Look Each Doctor has there own way of doing things.10th was trying to find the right path and how to live it almost losing himself. As for 11th he the mad hatter with a blue box that takes you nowhere and everywhere he just wings it and hopes in the end it works out but he has the darkness inside as well the one thing he can never ever EVER run from...himself his actions his fears and his past.

  • The 11th Doctor was the first doctor I ever saw, so naturally he's my absolute favorite (Though I've seen Tennant and he's really good, too). Matt Smith plays the Doctor perfectly! He's quirky, clever, caring, and so brave!

  • Demon's run, but count the cost, The battle's won, but the child is lost, when a good man goes to war

  • mat smith was a good doctor...but then they tried to move to america

  • @Pantaleontwentysix No they didn't. They were just shooting some scenes there

  • The silence will Fall

When the lights goes Out !

The gods and angels makes peoples Better

That the doctor doesnt Matter !

  • this literally gave me the chills!!

  • its the doctors time to get pisst

  • hei hei this page is for all comentsand it means everibodey can say wath ever he thinks we will accept that

  • That blue box is bluer with matt. I hate it

  • There is no such thing as a Better Doctor.. There is only a mad man with a Blue Box..

  • why does this sound like a lantern corp oath? lol

  • Colonel Runaway and Madame Kovarian disliked this.

  • Wait a second....that music is from Tron legacy :D It's from the track 'CLU'

  • love this quote. melody pond ftw

  • I want the picture you used...

  • doctor who is cool :D

  • Demons run but count the cost: the battles won but the war is lost, those who remain shall pay the cost, when a good man goes to war

  • The master dislikes this.

  • the doctor is a ganger

  • i think he will cheat death by yousing a flesh version or something 'cause that seems to almost be hinted to us i mean first amy then baby melody, who know maybe the flesh Doctor survived... and invites the younger REAL doctor to the thing and there we have it lol... i nearly cried at the newest episode Bye amy and Rory Noooo!!!! lol

  • And the doctor ages, he's no Captain Jack so after 200 years he looks the same, I don't think so...

  • @dojle74 well he can go to eny time so he might of gone to a time that has anti ageing tech

  • Demons run, but count the cost

The battle's won, but the child is lost...

  • I think matt smith is a better doctor than david tennant! THERE I'VE SAID IT!

  • @andreatassio Your not the only one.

  • @andreatassio D: I THINK THEY'RE ALL THE SAME DOCTOR AND THEY'VE ALL EQUALLY IMPRESSED ME. Now I've said it. xD

  • @andreatassio arguing over which doctor is better is like deciding to choose wether tits or ass is better, utterly pointless since all chocies are equally awesome

  • @andreatassio HERESY! BURN HIM, BURN HIM!

  • @andreatassio you did NOT just say that!!!!

  • @andreatassio I couldn't stand Matt, when I first saw him as the Doctor, running around wearing 10th's clothes. David remains my favourite, but damn is Smith a good Doctor? He's brilliant. He has a thing with epic speeches (Atraxi, Stonehedge etc etc). One has to love 11th. Nobody thought he could fill Tennant's shoes, but he did it.

  • @andreatassio He is a little bit more serious but honestly the best thing about Doctor Who is that each doctor is unique and crazy.

  • @andreatassio I don't think Matt has filled Tennant's shoes

    I think his outgrown them

  • @andreatassio You can't possibly mean that can you? wait do I think that? NOOOOOO!! It's like trying to decide between coffee and cappuccino, there both so good and they both have strengths and weaknesses but all in all their the same thing

  • @andreatassio sorry as miuch as i love the show in general, and matt smith is doin an awsome job, Tennant is better

  • @Wickeduggalo730 After two seasons with Smith, Tennant has been renamed Doctor Buzz Kill. You go back and watch Tennant episodes and there is generally a fairly somber tone. The episodes aren't bad, nor is it distasteful, but in comparison to all the life and vibrance Smith brings to the show, Tennant just feels like a buzz kill.

  • @kendro1200 i actually sort of agree with this as i started watching Doctor Who with Tennant he'll likely always be my favorite doctor had i started with Matt then go back to watch Tennants i reckon Matt would be my favorite Doctor.

all that over with theirs one thing for certain Karen Gillan is 100% my favourite companion ever and she'll be dearly missed when she leaves :( it's been nice to have a steady companion for a while...

  • @kendro1200 Eh, me, I blame most of that on the writing, though I still feel the writing was pretty strong durring Ten's years, despite what others have said. What I mean is that things seemed to get continually worse for Ten as time wore on. He started out very upbeat, but vengeful, but then he looses Rose. Martha walks out on him shortly after the Master dies and then he has to make Donna forget. He regenerates alone. Kept having thing after thing happen to him.

  • @Cuiasodo Now, Smith I still think is brilliant but if you look at it, though he's had some losses, had to save his friends, confront his own mortality and, in the end, leave Rory and Amy to keep them safe, I can't seem to think of as many horrible things happening to him as Ten. Doesn't make one character any greater than the other, just an observation I had.

  • @kendro1200 Doctor Buzzkill? Tennant? Oh, I think we have a hater here. I can accept easily someone saying "I prefer Smith", but calling Tennant, a brilliant actor that made the show what it is, that made people love again Doctor Who, a Buzzkill, that, my friend, in my humble opinion is ingratitude towards a man who offered a lot. I can't say I respect your opinion, cause I dislike this type of attitudes. Nevertheless, take care. Allow me to say you're wrong here.

  • @andreatassio He won me over at "I'm The Doctor...Basically...Run."

  • @andreatassio Honestly, I've always been loyal to Tennant and I had so many doubts when Matt took over. I hated him so much at first. But..after watching the episodes his attitude totally grew on me and now I've realized that after becoming slightly obsessed with DW...I actually do prefer 11:) A lot more. He's my Doctor♥

  • @andreatassio not alone

  • @andreatassio If I could just give my not polarized opinion on this: I feel that David Tenant is probably the superior actor/doctor, but Matt Smith has much better written seasons. Just my opinion though.

  • @andreatassio

Well, until now I have seen the new series and some episodes with the first and the fourth Doctor and actually they all have their own "charm". Every actor portrayed the Doctor in an unique way. At least it is very subjective which one was the best Doctor and it also depends on when you yourself became addicted to the show - for most of us "our first Doctor" will always be our favourite I guess.

  • @andreatassio He is closer to the classic Doctors

  • WRONG! THEIR BOTH THE DOCTOR, AND THEIR BOTH EQUALLY AS EPIC, LIKE EVERY SINGLE OTHER DOCTOR!

  • @Ryagful I agree with you, but you used the incorrect form of "there" it is suppose to be "they're" as in "they are".

  • NO TIME FOR THAT, TO BUSY LISTENING TO THIS EPIC THING!

  • daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn

  • david tennant will return! and i'm not a resolute fanboy of the 10'th doctor, to say this. but i'm sure he will come back for at least one episode, don't ask why.

  • @912silver em, no, I'm going to ask. I'm not going to ask why you know this, I'm going to ask HOW you know this. Granted, he may be doing something for the 50th anniversary, but that's only rumours right now. So, forgive me when I ask, how do you KNOW this as FACT. And if it IS an actual fact, please do not put this where everyone can see it, as, surprise surprise, a lot of Doctor Who fans are spoiler-phobes.

  • Colonel Run-Away disliked this

  • @TrueKingNY or maby Madam Kovorain or the slients

  • @TrueKingNY Colonel Runaway and Madame Kovarian both dislike this now.

  • @TrueKingNY Along with Madam Kovarian

  • @TrueKingNY LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TrueKingNY colonel Run-away and eyepatch lady disliked this

    426 compainians liked this

  • i love dr. who !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there were still several members that owed the doc a debt that could never be repaid and i wish they were involed with demons run some i can understand not being used freema agyeman, noel clarke and a good deal others owed the doc more than they could ever repay, but not having john barrowman hell they should have put production on hold just to make sure capt. jack harkness was involved that was almost unforgivable not having him involved, but hey that just my opinion

  • I'm not so sure anymore but i still think River is not the astronaut, it too

    much so i don't know

  • this should so be in harry potter

  • I think it is Rory because he has been dying a lot so maybe he gets put in the suit

cause its a life support and i have this whole thing about good men turning to

the dark side and maybe river kills rory not knowing he's her father and the silence

    trick her into doing so

  • Where did you find that picture

  • Don't hate me but l think Rory is the astronaut

  • @TheInspectorwho Um... I REALLY don't think that's who it is. I actually do think it's riversong, because she said she killed a man, and I think the person the astronaut killed was the ganger doctor because in the end of the almost people the doctor tells the ganger doctor that he might survive. Soooo yup that's my theory :)

  • @CowboyHobo yeah but you saw the ganger doctor plop back down to the goo. good theory though i am sure moffat would fine a way to bring him back from that. but it cant be that simple in the first episode thats what amy questioned a clone or a duplicate and canton said its most defiently the doctor.

  • I love this.

  • LOVE IT!!! so eppic!

  • demons run, but count the cost, the battle is won but the child is lost

  • Does some one have it in MP3?

  • Alex Kingston's voice...

  • this would be a cool ringtone for my phone , lol im joking the unreleased music would be better

  • Fun episode, but it practicaly told you who is in the astronaut suit!

  • @ThePhoenixRebourne Or did it? Remember how the little girl broke out of the suit?

  • @Renamedsin true.. the girl did break out of the suit, but River was still in prison for killing a good man

  • @kaitykaitkaitlyn1 Yeah, but, knowing Moffat, it'll be some huge f*cking plot twist, like, Rory kills the Doctor and River kills Rory. Who would be "the greatest man I ever met" than her own father?

  • @Keyblade747 touche my friend, touche

  • @ThePhoenixRebourne Who is it ? What do you mean , it didn't tell us anything?

  • @smickersxxx Well, it is logic that in the suit is River Song. Remember when she said that she killed a good man?

  • I raped the replay button....

  • this speech is true

friendship lies and true love lies when a good man goes to war

I was tempted by friends and relatives to disobey the church sometimes

  • demons run when a good man goes to war night will fall and drown the sun when good man goes to war friendship dies and true love lies night will fall and the dark will rise when a good man goes to war.

  • @billdean14 Demons run, but count the cost. The battle's won, but the child is lost...

  • Where can i find this background, wallpaper, or whatever it is bc i want this as a poster lol

  • @dustinhulett0606 nvm i found it lol .... kind of... bt where can i find the one u have used? the one i found has trust the doctor and the BBC logo

  • I know!!!!! I was so freaked out!

  • My mind was blown when River said that she was Melony O.o

really sorry if i spoiled it for anyone who hasn't seen the episode yet

  • @ClawSlasher1 it makes since now when the tardis said the only pond in the forest is the river

  • Comment removed

  • @TheOneYouFear1 Your words don't make any sense, or should I say... any since? )))))))))))))))

  • @5285214 in the episode where the soul of the Tardis was transferred into a woman, she told someone (i think the doctor) that the only pond in the forest is the river. In the most recent episode we find out that the people of the Gamma Forest do not have a name for pond, instead using the word they have for river in place of pond.

  • @TheOneYouFear1 she actually said to rory the only waTER in the forrest is the river

  • @5285214

What he means is that The gamma people do not have a word for Pond And Melody also means song so basically Melody Pond Translates into RIver Song.

  • @ClawSlasher1

    Meleody... Not melony

  • Makes me wonder what the actual finale will be like..........

  • Truly Amazing. I am quoting this on Facebook

  • The colonel runaway part was funny and epic. Shows you don't mess with the doctors friends.

  • Is it just me or did anyone else feel mesmerized by that???

  • Demons run and count the cost, the battles won but the child is lost

  • @serlolol True, they forgot that bit!

  • ahhh...ummm....speechless.....River...amy...Melody...Rory...The Doctor...Ahhh

  • Comment removed

  • @littlemaniack007 What? Lets kill Hitler? thats not racist

  • @littlemaniack007 How did killing Hitler become racist?

  • Steven Moffat is a genius!

  • This episode was E-P-I-C

  • creeeeepppppyyyyyyy

  • @LadyEpic1996 But cool :)

  • You could see an Omega symbol in back of the army when they were talking... Ooooh. There was also a II in it so maybe it means Omega's second coming?

  • seen it ,the twist at the end was awsome

  • There were demons in the base.

  • Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies, Night will fall and dark will rise, When a good man goes to war.

  • @RSwizard101vids ...Demons run, bout count the cost. The battle's won, but the child is lost.

  • To everyone commenting on the "lizard lady", it was an unseen adventure, which is why Moffat made sure to reference the circumstances surrounding it.

and the spelling is Silurian :P

  • I don't see how people can possibly dislike doctor who

  • Omega all but confirmed. Best finale ever.

  • question, does anyone know if there is an episode with the lizard lady in 1800s england? i dont remember it...

  • @giannizerox2 i dont either

  • @giannizerox2 There was the episode with the Surillieans [sp?] underground from 11s first series. Her sister was killed, although I can't remember who killed her. It was the ep with the big drill trying to drill deeper than ever before - or something like that!

  • @RyanKathryn Its spelt Silurians- and the episode was cold blood- where they were mining and disturbed the hibernating Silurians.

  • @giannizerox2 madame vastra is her name and not theres not we saw her in the episode were they were drilling to get to the center of the earth i dont remeber the name of the episode

  • @ladyxctasy

    The hungry earth/cold blood.

Favourite episode of all the series old and new :)

  • I thought she was his wife. :L

  • @thedevil738 ER... SHE COULD STILL BE HIS WIFE!

Just because she's Amy and Rory's daughter doesn't stop the fact that the two are in some sort of relationship and deeply in love and possible married by the time she leaves to visit the Library.

  • I WAS RIGHT!!!

I PREDICTED EVERYTHING THAT WAS FOUND OUT IN THE EPISODE DOWN TO THE LAST LITTLE DETAIL!

  • oh my fucking god!!! was this episode not EPIC!!!

  • @Geeseph Indeed it was

  • Ahhhh, just watched it!

    Watching confidential now. Ah-may-zing!

  • had an urge to just say this....

    OMG ITS ON TONIGHT AHHHH...

just needed t share that excitement thanks x

  • CLU's theme from TRON legacy mixed with DW awesome!

  • I can't wait for Muzza's Star Wars-inspired score for this episode. :-D

  • is this for the next episode, or the next season?

  • For anyone that needs it:

Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun, when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies. Night will fall and the dark will rise, when a good man goes to war.

My interpretation from this is that the enemy will run, the war will happen in the darkness, friendships are tested and lovers lie (i,e, amy and rory).... and is this 'good man' the doctor (one assumes so) or is it the man that river killed, if not the same person

  • For anyone that needs it:

Demons run when a good man goes to war. Night will fall and drown the sun, when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies. Night will fall and the dark will rise, when a good man goes to war.

  • @saffie1990 not sure why it posted just half my original?

  • i like it i just really hope that its not built up like episodes 1 and 2 i flet a little let down afterwards

  • where you get the picture or is it from the official site?

  • shit i have goosebumps

  • @amazingotube its cus the level of epicness is so untatraly masive it beats chuck norris

  • @TheLaserlord lmao :D

  • Er, is it me, or is the music taken from the Tron Legacy soundtrack?

    Nice poem.

  • Don't get too excited you'll ruin it for your selves

  • they're gonna have to include some real shockers to top this one!

  • @Kazamitsu07 Yeah, if this mid-series finale of Doctor Who is going to be as big and awesome as we think it is going to be, then what are they doing for the finale?!

  • uh oh this sounds like somebody is going to die.

  • Oh my lord... In shock.... : O

  • when a good man gos to war 200000 hours later when a good man gos to war
