I used to live off of Jamacha Blvd & Whitestone Rd. Did the fire reach that part of Spring Valley, namely Stone Pointe housing area? My friends Cris & Steve Stanfil live there and I don't know if the fire ever reached all the way down. I think someone told me it hit the reservior, but I don't know. I lived there during th 2003 fires and I can remember all of that very much. God Bless my friends in Diego. Rebuild and be strong!

To my knowledge it did not. I think your friends were spared.

No I didn't evauate but I couldn't sleep and had spent most of the day packing...just in case. I hope you are ok now too! All is well here.
