  • Elvis lives in memphis and sometimes walks in to bars to sing too - seriously though he lives in Surrey and once he went to a working mans club with Ringo and Gary Brooker to jam with the band and weren't allowed in because they weren't members, I bet the doorman got some earache after that, haha

  • Wow! Sweet post!! This is the bomb. :-) I wish I had been there.

  • And who wrote that song?! JJ CALE ;)

We should never forget about the fact that lots of his songs are just covers from even greater man.

  • Very nice - thanks for posting this.

  • Get your head outtat your ass! Still the most proficient lead player we have on the planet. You must be 14 and like Slash or something green like that. If you played you would know in a heartbeat that he is still the emotion king. This recording is quickly gaining fame because of just that, THEY STILL HAVE IT. It must suck knowing dick about music. Music is my life, so this masterpiece is a given. Have a nice day! And I DO like all new music too!

  • Yeah, he can still slay 'em!

  • Is this from 2009 tour?

  • is that bass player the one that used to play for Jeff Beck?

  • Yes, he's Randy Hope Taylor..

  • Clapton lives in the Columbus, Ohio area. There are several blues rocker open stage joints here. Clapton has been known to just walk in with a guitar over his shoulder and ask, "Mind if I sit in?"

He seems to just get better n better. SMOOOOTH.

  • @charles43110 He may have a house in America, but his real home is in the Surrey hills not too far from me, a place called Hurtwood Edge. It has been his home since the sixties. And as far as i know, he doesn't have American citizenship.

Unless of course you know better.

  • The cd and dvd are coming out this spring!

  • no way?! I Can't wait.. I went to tuesday's show last year @ MSG

  • i was there, best concert of my life!

  • And Steve appears to be playing a real piano onstage; my assumption is that that's pretty rare these days for a 'rock' concert.

  • He's playing a hammond organ - a rather oldfashioned model, allegedly from the late 1950s. I once heard him playing that instrument live in Frankfurt, Germany.

  • Oh, Eric looks sexier as each day goes by. A real British Gentleman/Living Rock Star Legend. And nothing gets worse about the music; quite the opposite!

  • I want Blind Faith to be a permanent touring band ( and with Jack Bruce)!!!!!

  • What Color Is that Strat? it looks shiny i can tell if its gold or silver, im color blind

  • Pewter Grey

  • It's black!

  • Grigio Ferrari Silverstone

  • After playing this tune Clapton turned to Winwood smiling and appeared to say "they really like this song!"

  • @modernal Probably off their faces... Awesome

  • AAaaachhhhh!!! This is the true proof, that legend can live in the material world.

  • Yes, maybe this is proof that, instead of living in a world of MTV and plastic bottles, there are still Mozarts and Picassos walking among us. . .I wish more would come out of their caves!
