the independent police complaints commision is not independent, it is heavily connected with the police force, get a solicitor and press for a case of unlawful imprisonment
myths: police have a hard job, they don't make a lot of money. they are here to protect and serve us. they are honest, and want to make a difference in real crime.
@tanapoom06. no not only black people carry a gun, and I never said they did. The man in the video was innocent and should not have been treated in the way he was at all. You seem very angry re: this issue.
My neighbour an ex British policeman from Leeds disagrees with you. Firearms can be carried, where any danger to life is involved. They are to be carried unobtrusively under the uniform wherever possible, as are batons.
@ozzirt my uncle has been in the police for over 30 years, he was a beat cop in London when the IRA bombings were going on and has recently headed a drugs opporation. He never carried a gun. The whole point is that they don't carry guns and use other methods.
@chrizgoodwin Well, ask your uncle if he could carry a personal firearm if needed, because you will find that he could have, should the need be there. End of story.
@chrizgoodwin Well where did these Police get the firearms that they were using when they felt they needed them,.... ?
As I susspected all along, your story doesn't hold water, and Derek told me that although he was not involved in that part of Policing a lot, he had drawn a weapon from the Station, and saw other Police on possibly dangerous jobs issued with a firearm on many occasions over an 18 year period.
I think that you are just making this up as you go along,
@ozzirt Every territorial police force has a number of officers who are routinely armed in units generally called Armed Response Vehicles. Certain specialist squads, such as the Flying Squad, Special Branch, Diplomatic Protection Group, Royalty Protection Branch, and officers protecting airports along with government buildings, are routinely armed. The British Transport Police does not have any armed officers of its own, relying on the assistance of the local territorial...
you lot need to calm down. They arrested him at gun point for the safety of the public and themselves. They don't know if he's carrying a weapon. Besides firearms officers act on itelligence recieved from intelligence officers. They have to act on it. the intelligence officers got it wrong. and tbh it's better to arrest him and clear him of any wrong doing than to not arrest him because you're not sure and then he does something.
@pyro999maniac You was not there, you do not know what the intellignce was or even if there was any. Perhaps you should only comment on the facts that you know are true
@h4ppychap of course there was intelligence....in the UK the use of firearms in an arrest has to be authorised by a senior officer. They cant just point a gun at someone. They wopuld have intelligence as to where he was, what he was doing, his job, where he lived etc......they would not be allowed to act without intelligence. perhaps you should stop telling other people not to comment unless they know what they are talking about...coz you are the same..and btw I am studying the Police
@ozzirt why use firearms to arrest a single person. Those officers do not know if he is carrying a weapon. It is for the safety of the public and themselves. Quite often it is the intelligence officers who get it wrong. The officers making the arrest act on intelligence they recieve from other members of the force.
@chrizgoodwin So that means that these cowboys can risk the life of a totally innocent person by arresting him at gunpoint?
You forget, Cops are just highly stressed civillians with guns, and are just as likely, perhaps more likely to shoot first and ask questions later. WTF do they think they are,... Dodge city?
If you think the target may have a gun, you take one too, but you don't need to go around like you are about to take on an army.
@ozzirt they didn't know that he was innocent. They act on intelligence.. They had been told that he was a terrorist and so they arrested him at gunpoint. Would you rather that they did nothing when they recieve intelligence of this sort. Its better to act on it and find out he's innocent and release him without charge than not act on it and him blow something up.
@pyro999maniac Well, there's your first very obvious error. You say they work on intelligence,... by definition, intelligence is the gathering of facts. They got this wrong and therefore they had not gathered facts at all, they were working on rumour. On the basis of this they risked shooting an innocent man.
If I did it, I would be imprisoned, so what is going to happen to the perpetrators of this crime, and it is a crime to wrongly hold a person at gunpoint
@ozzirt when he is suspected of being involved in terrorism they are not going to just walk up and ask politely......they carried out a perfectly textbook arrest under anti-terrorism law. You cant blame them for doing their job correctly. If you wanna blame then blame the intelligence officers. And they arrest 'on suspicion' until it can be proved or disproved. The police have the power to do so so it is not a crime.
@pyro999maniac Why not? If the copper doing it was armed, that's all he need do.
You need to wake up. They made a similat "perfect arrest" when they shot that INNOCENT South American, bloke a couple of years ago. What are you a paid police public relations man or something?
@ozzirt no i am not a paid member of police staff....i'm studying Uniformed Public Services. All i'm trying to say is that firearms officers act of information they recieve. They dont gether the information. They have to treat everyone the arrest as a terrorist untl it is proven that they are innocent. As for the JeanCahrles de Menezes case...again those officers acted on information that he was a terrorist carrying a device on him at the time. Its the intel officers who screwed up.
@pyro999maniac Precisely,... what you neglect to take into account is t5hat they don't always receive the right information, which in this case could have led to the needless death of an innocent man, as has happened before.
You also conveniently forget the first rule of law, that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
You cannot deny it that these people are turning the country into a Police state.
It WAS a gross over reaction, ten times so, in that they had the wrong man.
@pyro999maniac don't worry about this ozzirt guy. Just reading the posts he's writing makes him look like a man who failed he GSCE's and now spends their time on youtube arguing wrongly.
@ozzirt I'm 16 and i'm moving to Welbeck defence 6th form college in september to study A levels so i can be come an officer in the Royal Engineers. And no i've never been threatened by a man with a gun but with knifes a few times. The police did nothing wrong and neither did the bloke who got arrested so he wasn't charged and life goes on.
@chrizgoodwin You need to read the papers a bit, and see a bit of real life.
If only you could see the stupidity of your statement, "The Police did nothing wrong" ,.... what, do you think that Police bullets will not kill you as dead as those of criminals?
It was cowboy policing, highly irresponsible and way over the top to arrest a single person off the street.
@ozzirt they wouldn't have shot him unless he went to pull out a gun. If he'd had a gun on him and they hadn't been "cowboy" policing what would they have done then?
Look what happened in London only a few years ago to Jean De Menezes.
If he had a gun I'm sure the police could have drawn their service pistols. They do not have to point a gun at an innocent person, until he at least shows some sign that he has a gun. Next, they will be attempting to justify holding traffic offenders at gun point, "Because they MAY have a gun".
@ozzirt Police don't have service pistols. They have special armed units in each county. As for Jean De Menezes, the police were stupid. This is completely different. The bloke wasn't shot so it doesn't matter. It is becoming so easy to get guns and they are so common that the police have to act like this. If i had £2000 i could go buy one next week. I live in south London. I know 2 people who've been stabbed. You are raving about one incident, this happens all of the time in America.
@chrizgoodwin Well you got that right,... The Police are stupid, and that is the very reason why they should not be allowed to go around shoving loaded weapons in peoples faces. It will just be a matter of time before another innocent person is killed by these cowboys.

@chrizgoodwin I don't live in America. Neither do you, but if Police are allowed to act the way they have in this video, we may as well be living there.
@ozzirt by doing this the police are not risking their lives in anyway. You are bsically saying that the mental state of a single person is more important than the lives of police. Using measures like these stop police from being shot.
@ozzirt Yes, because If an armed police officer walked up to you and asked politely if you had a bomb or a gun on you, you'd say fair and and hand over the bomb or gun and spend the rest of your life in prison. NO you twat you'd either blow the bomb up or try n shoot the officer or run. YOU ARE AN IDIOT.
I'll bet you've never faced an armed man in your life you Fukwit. The point being that this man was NOT armed and the Police had fcuked up, as they often do.
THE POLICE IN THE UK MURDER LOADS OF PEOPLE EVERYYEAR .ITS SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET OF INTERNAL CORRUPTION IN THE POLICE FORCE, AND WE SERIOUSLY NEED A BIG INDEPENDENT BODY TO CONTROL THE FREAKS.THE IPCC IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AS ITS COMPOSED OF EX POLICE OFFICERS. THEY ARE ALL FREEMASONS .SO THE IPSC IS ALSO ANOTHER BRUSH TO SWEEP AWAY THE EVIL OF THE UK POLICE FORCE. RAUL MOTE SHOT THAT COP IN NEWCASTLE THAT HE HAD S O MUCH SUPPORT FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC .BECAUSE WE ARE ALL SICK AND TIRED
@geisterbahn1 another twat who believes conspiracy theories that have come from other countries and been adapted for UK. Free masons are not stupid, if they exsist that is, all ex police can not be free masons. Again if the free masons exsist, why would people who control what the dollar bill looks like and other shit like that be in the IPCC. You spend too much time on the internet and your suggestible liitle mind has been persuaded to believe the ridiculous stories such as these...
@chrizgoodwin your a right thicko! why not apply for a CSO job, you,d be perfect idiot stuff for them to mould.Ho! by the way,you can join the freemasons then.be a good boy you little head knodder yes sir no sir 3 bags full sir. your type make me puke!
@chrizgoodwin Thats funny! every one I ve spoken to knows the Police murdered Raul (R,I,P) and everyone i know dont have a good word to say about the twats in black. Youe more than likely a CSO idiot ! wake up stupid brains the uk is a police state.
Four bournemouth police threatened to break my door down on tuesday morning at one am and then arrested me on suspicion. They locked me in a cell for over ten hours and then the metropolitan police arrived, handcuffed me, threw me in a dog cage and took me to lewisham police station in London. After a ten minute interview with my solicitor i was released with no charge. We proved beyond doubt that the complainant lied to the police. They are not doing anything about him.
Lol explanation, "you're black", now don't do it again or the police will be out in full force. Fucking stupid, I can't belive you had to go thru this, you should claim for PTSD and slandering your good name!
The police were just doing their job and drastic measure, a bomb going off on a train is drastic so shut your mouth because people like you moaning about it will only make it harder to arrest the real terrorist's
@MrBuellgod Post-traumatic stress and racism is pretty drastic too, you might find. If it was so important, they should have taken more care to make sure they had the right guy- if they don't the right guy could get away, leaving you looking stupid with some random innocent lying on the floor at gun-point.
Wish you lot would fuck off, christ, they had mistaken identity, i dont know about you lot but their are 3Billion of us on the effing planet. Secondly, imagine if he was carrying something he shouldnt and killed people, knowing the police didnt do anything because they werent 100% sure... Id rather an arrest that was later cleared than the police letting him go and him blowing your face off... The police have a hard time, just you halfwits dont understand because your not one! Belt up.

Dear friend, Police in UK is over reacting without any knowledge and information about citizen of other countries .
Police in UK does not respect foreigners and classified all none UK citizen as backward immigrant.
As far as I believe UK police does not protect none British people.
You should sue Dorset Police and use free legal aid , make sure the case goes to EU court of justice because chance of winning in UK court for a none British people is very slim .
to be fair the guy matched the description of the other guy with the gun, and while the police were agressive a lot of people could of died if it was him, there only there to protect and cant be accused of racism in this incident.
Was this by British Transport Police that actually do this to this person when he ordered to put himself down to the ground that is weird this should never happen to this person again not a terrorist so why do this to him
If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.
Look at it from the police side, at the attitude that is persistent. I'm sure that they are lead to believe that everybody they talk to may want to kill them while in uniform. I don't excuse the conduct but I need a reason.
Well done Dorset Police.... You fucking retards, it's scary that these idiots even have guns, it's like given 3 year olds automatic weapons. Stupid!!!!
how bout you jump off the black mans dick, your white im white....so what, feds are racist. SIMPLE OLD BILL SCUM ARE RACIST. FACT! deal with it....any way your a muslim convert.....i shouldnt even reply to you.
just want to say dont hate the police they dont make the laws its down to the government that makes the laws!but considering since the 70's in the heath government by joining the eu and giving a foreign country powers of authority they have been committing treason against us!its in the uk bill of rights go check it out and go and report it to the police station.if the police fail to act then that is breach of office and you can take action against that officer for neglect of duty!
Mark Monaghan Dorset Bournemouth police is fucking lowlife scum of CUNT who will tell lies and fuck your head up, he is fucking EVIL CUNT who said my mom is dead behind my back towards my friends! And soon, soon quite soon, Ill see to that CUNT is kicked out of the police along with a few of his buddy scum pig officers!
"Drastically arrested"? I would hope so if they thought you were going to blow up a train. Being a citizen of this country negates your right to freedom when it's strongly suspected you're about to/have committed a criminal offence. That's been the law since the beginning of the country. Mistakes, in the name of freedom, will continue to be made. Fortunately, most arrests are justified and make here a safer place to live.
i am foreighn live in Bournemouth as a student. as i am not really good guy and i been locked up couple of times. Bournemouth and Poole police RESPECT!!! wpnderful people.
I was arrested for armed robbery as well, by mistake, I know how this person fells is terrible, I was driving my car and the police stop me and said your car and you as a person matches in a incident which happent 2 weeks ago and I was taken to the police station in Totton Southampton, then there was invistigation I was locked for 24 hours, but they found out that it wasnt me. But it was bad experience.
PRICK! I'm sure you'd really say the same if it happened to you & you had a dozen guns with itchy, trigger-finger pigs at the other end!
...attitude adjustment needed for you pikey boy!
Why not stab yourself for once & see how it feels for all those 14 year olds you like to cut!
It's OK that daddy diddn't love you & left home when he sobered up enough to realise your mum was a honking fat wilderbeast but, that is no reason to go cutting people, it's ok to cry you know, go on, let it all out.
It's a shame this bloke got put through this but... He matched the description of someone who might have a firearm.. What are they supposed to do, walk up and say "please". If he'd truly had a gun and used it, all the moaners would be saying "why didnt they stop him"
S**t happens. I'm sure he'll try his best for compo...
To think about this logically this is only a big deal so to speak because its rare in Britain for citizens to see police officers with firearms if this was a stop in any other country except Japan it would have been considered normal.
I just love these guys that post this. They have no access to the official police information that they recieved, but try to put them down anyway with the way that they reacted. They're the sort of people that moan if you wake them up with your sirens going, but would complain if you took a while attending a job due to having them off!
stop dramatising something so petty, if the police had information they should act like they do, if he had a gun how is this a drastic matter, why should the copper get shot,
"why should the copper get shot"??? Are you a little soft in the cranial department? >>> I think you'll find it's in the job description; SERVE and PROTECT, NOT harass!
shut the fuck up he should get shot they always fuck people up they barely help because when someone threatend me i told a cop and he was like " I deal with that later" FUCK COPS THEY ARE FUCKEN LOOSER ASS FAT FUCKS THAT WHERE NEVER POPULAR IN SCHOL AND JUST WANTED TO BE MORE POWERFUL
How much compensayshun I get man??? I want loadsa money for me big families an baby muvvers an all dem police sent down an fired.

RAUL MOTE SHOT THAT COP IN NEWCASTLE THAT HE HAD S O MUCH SUPPORT FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC .BECAUSE WE ARE ALL SICK AND TIRED
geisterbahn1 1 year ago
@geisterbahn1 another twat who believes conspiracy theories that have come from other countries and been adapted for UK. Free masons are not stupid, if they exsist that is, all ex police can not be free masons. Again if the free masons exsist, why would people who control what the dollar bill looks like and other shit like that be in the IPCC. You spend too much time on the internet and your suggestible liitle mind has been persuaded to believe the ridiculous stories such as these...

Well, i suppose it's nice to see Dorset Police doing something other than stopping and searching vulnerable young women and teenage girls.

The police were just doing their job and drastic measure, a bomb going off on a train is drastic so shut your mouth because people like you moaning about it will only make it harder to arrest the real terrorist's
MrBuellgod 1 year ago
@MrBuellgod Post-traumatic stress and racism is pretty drastic too, you might find. If it was so important, they should have taken more care to make sure they had the right guy- if they don't the right guy could get away, leaving you looking stupid with some random innocent lying on the floor at gun-point.
lioxoda 1 year ago
That's what happens when the media want to scare everyone with terrorism

@Paris701,
to be fair the guy matched the description of the other guy with the gun, and while the police were agressive a lot of people could of died if it was him, there only there to protect and cant be accused of racism in this incident.

I don't excuse the conduct but I need a reason.

just want to say dont hate the police they dont make the laws its down to the government that makes the laws!but considering since the 70's in the heath government by joining the eu and giving a foreign country powers of authority they have been committing treason against us!its in the uk bill of rights go check it out and go and report it to the police station.if the police fail to act then that is breach of office and you can take action against that officer for neglect of duty!

Transcendentality 3 years ago 2
they didn't think he was gunna blow up the train...they thought he had a gun.

Shakeyboat1 3 years ago
I just love these guys that post this. They have no access to the official police information that they recieved, but try to put them down anyway with the way that they reacted. They're the sort of people that moan if you wake them up with your sirens going, but would complain if you took a while attending a job due to having them off!
