I've tried this "folding trick" many times. It just doesn't work. FYI, I didn't give up, I still try it every time I get home from school or whenever my mother does the family laundry.

Even if you are righthanded, you just have to do it the other way...

Instead of using you'r left hand at the first step, you use the right hand.
