  • LOL I think she does not want knightley to marry jane XD hahaha are u jeleous emma

  • I'm betting the real reason Churchill went to London is to get that piano for Miss Fairfax...

  • What is the song that Jane Fairfax plays at 4:51?? It's driving me nuts!

  • I love seeing Dumbledore sitting and being a little senile from time to time. Well, the powerful old man deserves it.

  • Emma, you really expect such hot someone like Mr Knightley remain a virgin bachelor for his whole life? And I thought she was good at matchmaking, geez!

  • @DarkOrMisunderstood Who says he's virgin at all?

  • @234313069 Kind of the social rules from this time, I'd guess ;)

  • I remember in clueless.. with josh... -how many hours do you spend on doing your hair? -well, we all not naturaly beutiful as you are...- it'll fit here

  • Frank Churchill stares at Emma's cleavage here for a second. And he gave her a quick look up and down upon meeting her formally in her house. He is just a flirt, it's amazing he sticks to staying with Jane.

  • Woah... wait... how the heck did that pianoforte eveen fit in that door at 1:28 DD:

  • LMAO! Mr. Knightley is so proud of Emma singing and playing the piano forte, until the duet begins... He cannot hide his disgust of Mr. Churchill. Love it!

  • @LCaczan I know its obvious hes SOO jealous!!

  • I think this is the best emma I have ever watched.

  • what is the name of the music that starts at 7:00?

"played" by Laura Pyper (Jane Fairfax)

  • @NazgulTuga I believe it is "Nobody loves like an irishman"

  • What's the name of the music that starts at 7:00?

  • Does anyone know the song that starts playing at 1:05?

  • I would hate to be jane right then poor girl

  • Love Mr Knightley in 1999 Mansfield Park as Edmond as well!!! Thank you for this, a pleasure to watch.

  • @laurclassicslove so he was edmond i knew it i know i saw him somewhere before

  • @Mandinko23 He also had a staring role on the TV show Eli Stone. I believe there was only 2 seasons. I enjoyed it.

  • @laurclassicslove It's funny, Mr. Elton in this movie played Edmond in the newest version of Mansfield Park

  • @aDieuSeul yeah the jump between period drama to period drama mr knigthelys is in mansfield park too

  • as so many of my friends are going... auheuahuhea that emma is the BEST

  • wow ...this is a different twist ..i thought Emma was Jealous of Jane because Frank gave her too much attention not mr. knightly

  • @sarathomas208 No, it was the same in the book (: And in the KB version too, but you sort of have to read between the lines to figure it out. In this one it's a little more obvious what the intentions of the characters are because hints are dropped more often (:

  • just wondering how nobody hears them whispering so loud for atleast 5 minutes straight in that small room lol

  • Thank god, Jane Austen never gives an explicit description of the physicality of her characters, be it male or female!

  • 0:50 Romola looks exactly like Laura Linney. love this version

  • @vesperholly Yes, doesn't she! :-) That was my first thought upon seeing her!

  • For the one's who are interessted in the song 'Where is your Highland laddie gone?', I've cut this video to the extract of only the song. On this channel I only found an intrumental version.

  • I love the way she looks over at Knightly while she is singing; always seeking his approval.

  • 3:14 Mr. Knightley looks so beautiful <3

  • 1:09 - lol! He stands outside with his hat off, but then puts his hat on to go inside, just to walk 20 feet and take it off at the door. XD

  • @Sarandib22 controlled nonchalance, an oxymoron that I find to be very common in emotionally charged situations :-)

  • Mr Knightley jealous? No way. :p

  • Howcome they arent wearing jewels. Dont they in the P & P, Kiera Knightley version??

  • Remember "Emma" is a novel about village life, they are country people. Jewelry might be found ostentatious and in poor taste. Comparing this to the Kiera Knightley P&P is like apples to oranges.

  • @jonwiley you sure are respondant lol

  • @jonwiley plus, they may be country people. but most of them are rich, even a lil something something cant hurt.

  • @jonwiley plus, they may be country people. but most of them are rich, even a lil something something cant hurt.

  • @jonwiley plus, they are rich, they can wear a little jewels, it adds to the look of the period. or its just fun to look at.

  • @steflondon88 I doubt if the well born landed gentry did anything because it would be "just fun to look at." You'd be considered as vulgar as Mrs Elton. Now she's got jewels, feathers in her hair... The thing about the truly rich is they don't have to put it on display.

  • @jonwiley

your kinda mean. and kinda contrary.

  • her smile is familiar to me too! Ms. Bayte is so much the proud aunt it's disgusting lol

  • I love the way he says "nonsensical girl".... sigh...

  • her smile reminds me of someone and its killing me i dont know who!!

  • drew barrymore?

  • OH, ! I think its kindaaa like Laura Linney, the mother in Nanny Diaries.

  • i love her shawl at 0:30

  • the house at 0:15 looks A LOT like the house where I'm getting married. :)

  • @rhapsodyswept ... You lucky girl.. where is the 'house' you are marrying at then?? I wish you much happiness and good fortune for your future marriage.. :0)x

  • @rhapsodyswept yeah I love how this is a trades person's house. A "humble" kind of people, yet the house it HUGE!

  • 3:39 - I like how Emma gives Mr. Knightley a look, as if asking him, "How am I doing?", and Knightley smiles & nods.

  • Frank is a bit of a rascal... And such a nice haircut. >:)

  • Emma seems so fakey-nice at this party....not really attractive.

  • what is the name of the song that Jane Fairfax plays? i know i've heard it somewhere!

  • She did not sing, did she?

  • nope, she didn't sing. the song is in another period drama, but i've seen so many idk which one!

  • I remember hearing it in Becoming Jane.

  • Beethoven Sonata! One of my favorites. Not sure which one
