  • Jeep Developed the small 4X4 set up as used today. OK it may have been Bantam at the time . Toyota makes a great machine. What surprises me wa the klack of know how with the tow system and apparent fear of alligators.

  • Toyota Landcruiser is overpriced. Sure its good at offroading but I wouldn't pay that much for the same off roading capability as a jeep, 4runner, pathfinder, ect.

  • @mrmeanr jeeps are fucking gay man they're shit , breaking down all the time and 21 inches of water wtf thats not even two feet and the base of the puddle is probably pavement Toyota is the best and they're actually known for being the best jeep is just cheap garbage

  • no brain,anyone of you...

  • Yea, if it was a Ford, it would have just sat in the drive way and leaked oil. If you want to play off road, you have to get a Jeep. how many other Companies require all their models to forde at LEAST 21in of water minimum, before sending them off to the show room? And you can pull dead weight in any direction with a Jeep... Low range gives you all the torque you need. Bottom line, no ford can hang with a similar equipped Jeep off road. So just buy a Jeep and forget the rest.

  • what ever you say toyota is still the best on offroad

  • the recovery vehicle should have been facing the other way... its harder to get power through Reverse Gears... then again If he had a FORD he wouldnt have been stuck in the 1st place.... Dumbass'

  • yeah completely right, he wouldnt have made it to the puddle

  • yea, canuckinabronco ur a total idiot, he in a landcruiser, that is the best rated stock 4x4 vehicle in the world

  • Haha just like Zak said to you, Yeah ur right canuckinabronco, There wouldnt of been a problem cus the shitty a55 ford wouldnt of made it outta the driveway!! Haha

  • I'm guessing from the amount of water in the cab that he wasnt able to assist while being pulled out because he probably stalled the motor and couldnt get it going again...

  • whats with the 4 people in and on the stuck truck, if its not running why add more weight?

  • Like this guy have no idea on how to off road... i thought both cars were to get stuck....

When pullin out a car, the stuck car must help too. If not, happens what on da video: the pullin car just skids and may end up stuck too

  • would of been easier if dude got of the top of the truck and guy inside

  • wow.

jealous of those fj's. both 70s?

  • stupid bloody idiots doesnt matter how much u tell people bout snatch straps and recovery points u still got turkeys like this

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL ;o)

  • What a bunch of donuts.Accident waiting to happen!!!

  • too bad the strap didnt snap, you stupid idiots

  • omg!

  • I have to say... how refreshing it was that throughout this event, it was nice that everyone kept cool and calm and saw the funny side... and I am glad it didn't RIP!

  • idiots! Its all fun and games until the strap snaps and knocks out the dumb F*@k who is standing near the strap

  • YaY!!

  • That's your idea of a good day out?

  • you shoulda got that out straight away instead of fucking about with it. wouldve been a smaller damage bill and ur insides wouldnt stink like shit so much

  • Jesus Thats Alot Of Water In There

  • Shoulda had a Land Rover..It woulda made it :-)

  • Nice shorty.

IMHO, I would say the recovery vehicle didn't need to that close. Snatch straps are long enough - he wouldn't even need to get the tyres wet.

Having said that - glad the engine was ok. Those things are painfully expensive.

  • lol thats awesome

  • that is true dude

  • hahahahahahahaha - its a Jeep thing , you wouldn't understand. Invest in quadra-trac 4x4 buddy

  • i like cheeese

  • the sael for a landcruiser is at the top of the door so it shudn't have flodded

  • Quality.

  • I giggled my swede of watching this!! haha Thanks Shaun xx Mo (ps I'll snd him with wllies next time!!) hee hee

  • Hello I'm the poor bastard in the LandCruiser.

Yeah its got a snorkel, and yeah it's a diesel, but we discovered afterwards that the pipe joining the snorkel to the air inlet on the turbo manifold had a split in it.

Amazingly after emptying 20 litres of water out of the sump and turning it over with the glow plugs out to empty the pots, it started and I drove back home!

  • Yes Toyota quality.

Topgear has done this to a hilux. and it survived ;)

  • nice work :D

I drove my FJ40 into something similar - the dissapearing reed grass shoulda been a dead giveaway. I got stuck in half way up my windscreen.

  • He got a snorkel...was it a petrol engine? Does not happen with a diesel.
