@45spindle - I just noticed the F bomb as well in the first line. I had to listen to it a few times because it caught me off guard as I was driving lol. I suppose if your album only makes it to 143 on the charts you can get away with one without anyone noticing. But yeah, he definitely doesn't say "very".
I just noticed that. Does not sound like Eric Carmen, but then again, it may be out of frustration. Still like this song and more so the group because they were sooooo underrated.
Love this song, always have.

This song still sounds fresh after all these years...There are plenty of bands out there that learned a thing or two from The Raspberries...

this album was Rolling Stones album of the year and for good reason, not a clam in the bunch...

For me the most touching lyrics of the prolific writing made by Eric Carmen.

Awesome band...great song. Breaks my heart that so many people today don't even remember the Raspberries.

Would have been a hit if not for the f-word in the first line. Ah, the days of putting artistic integrity before record sales...

One of my favorite songs of all time. The song is as gorgeous today as it was when I first heard it off the "Starting Over" album.
Thanks for posting it!
