I set the 'dowbn button on the d-pad to down smash.

Then when I see an oppurtunity to spike, you have to jump IMMEDIATELY BEFORE you do the down-smash.That way, the huge amount of ending lag of the dair will not occur while you fall to ur doom, but you'll just be jumping the whole time. It works with the gc controller also, just use c-stick for dair. if u see on all da combo vids, the marth does doublejump just before spiking.

Yes, but saying MetaKnight is the same as Ganondorf is ludacrous. Sure, a really good Ganon can take out a really good MK every once in a while, but you have to agree MK is in a "tier" if you will, higher than Ganon.

I understand where you're coming from, how any intelligent player can make the low "tiers" seem good, but it's just not enough to overcome the high "tiers" on a fair basis. In short, 9 times out of 10, a high "tier" will beat a low "tier".

Actually all ivysaur has to do to spike you is to do a neutral air when you hit behind his bulb and near his feet and it will count a a spike.Or he can just smash you into the stage while recovering.Another thing is he could vinewhip you while you were edgehog.I'm a pro at ivy so i know this ^_^
