  • nice car need to work on your shifting tho but still nice car

  • @tyjtag747 ya i learned how to drive a stick the day before this. and if you read the description you would know that i wasnt trying to go as fast as possible because the tires on it were bad

  • your low on gas

  • @donovanmcvick *you're

  • is this in manassass

  • @bonethugz087 nope, milford maine

  • those things are so ugly.. i know this kid who just one for a thousand bucks and brags it up on facebook, his name is austin nelson hes from grand forks north dakota, ima cut him

  • @heustisdickk who cares if theyre ugly, at least theyre not girls cars like 2g and 3g eclipses are

  • @savagexhaley14 It's the same thing. It's still a DSM. I'd drive a 2g over a 1g any day just for the simple fact that parts are easier to find and they aren't as beat on.

  • @PbDude2 ya, ill still take a 1g, you can keep your weak 7-bolt 2g

  • @savagexhaley14 Lol, you act as if 6-bolt swaps are impossible. Why not have the best of both worlds? DSMs in general are terrible when it comes to reliability, but at least with a 6-bolt you don't have to worry about crankwalk. I see no reason to talk about power when reliability is in the shitter.

  • @PbDude2 dsm's arent that reliable when tuned properly, but when you have retards running more boost on stock injectors and w/o a tune, or venting the bov to the atmosphere w/o having it tuned for it, then ya, they blow up.

  • @savagexhaley14 They "are NOT that reliable if tuned properly'? Or they ARE that reliable when tuned properly?? if you run too much boost on stock injectors, you will hit fuel cut first before "blowing it up", why would venting to atmosphere cause the engine to "blow up"?

  • @zero2blur its supposed to say "are", whoops. but tell all the people with blown headgaskets and crankwalk on DSM's that you'll hit the "fuel cut" first. and the stock ecu is tuned to have the bov vent back into the intake, so venting it to the atmosphere w/o a tune doesnt blow it up, but will make it run like complete shit.

  • @savagexhaley14 A few days I forgot to connect my BOV recirculation tube and it kept dying. :P.

But fuel cut does not relate to crankwalk or blown head gaskets...

  • @zero2blur ya, detonation doesnt relate to blown headgaskets, nope not at all......

  • @savagexhaley14 Yah, this is true detonation causes blown head gaskets. But we are talking about FUEL CUT. Fuel cut is when the ECU senses too much boost and cuts the fuel, thus saving the motor.

  • @zero2blur Oops I mean when the ECU senses an overly lean condition, then you get fuel cut.

  • @PbDude2 no, just gay body kits and ricer taillights are easier to find for a 2g.... it's easier to find motor parts for a 6 bolt 1g... and impossible to find a 1990 tranny(one year specific)

  • @miniimoto95 i had a guy offer me $800 for the trans in mine, i shouldve sold it and bought a mighty max to put the motor in ahahahaha

  • @savagexhaley14 hell ya, currently my family has a 91 MM 4g64 as community property(if you nee a truck or your cars down drive the MM)

  • You traded a 16g Talon TSI for a lowered S10? omfg

  • @flamingaxe791 the turbo on the eagle shit the bed and i had no money to fix it, so ya, i did

  • ahhh ic ic haha yeah i remember when i just was learning, i went through a clutch in 2 1/2 days lol

  • terrible shifting (no offense)

  • @HKarmyGuy ya, i wasnt exactly trying to go fast haha, and this was about 3 days after i learned how to drive a stick

  • anyone want to buy my 16g fwd dsm? haha!

  • @holsetdsm91 maybe, how much and where are you?

  • @holsetdsm91 2900 in portland oregon

  • $1200 what a steal, what made you get rid of it? I can't even find a decent AWD around my parts, let alone a FWD DSM

  • @calcatchem i got it so cheap because i bought a car for $1200 and then traded up to a better car and then traded up to this one. so i only had 1200 into it. i got rid of it because it needed to be tuned and eventually the turbo needed to be rebuilt and as a jobless 18 y/o i didnt have the money to fix it so i traded it for a lowered s10 haha

  • @savagexhaley14 oh ya i hear ya, sucks being broke same here
