  • Of the 15 crew members on board, 12 of them suffered severe concussions and the other 3 were lost at sea.

This resulted in lawsuits far surpassing the worth of the ship so they later blew it up to file for the insurance claim.

    The End

  • THAT WAS SO EXTREME!!....not

  • this is how ships lose their virginity

  • So when can i ride a boat into water like that?

  • i prefer docks.

  • Right lads pull the rope so it wont float away to far followed by rope ?

  • I bet the guys on the boat need some new pants.

  • @TrinalHydra i bet the guys on the boat need some plastic sugary

  • Notice the horn stops when the boat hits the water yah that because the captain is launched into the window

  • Sooo uhhh.... how do we get on.. -.-

  • Wtf..really?

  • Anybody used Fish Boat Nav app?

  • he horn stopped because the person honking it ate shit

  • *boat drifts..* *applaud* .... OH SHIT THERE'S NO CREW!

  • is there someone on board when they launch ?

  • @AlexTripleMB , LMFAO

  • @AlexTripleMB Nope :D

  • wtf?????is that real?

  • @MrNyad1346 sure is... the keel ballast ensures it will never topple over.. scary though to watch

  • Good job somebody got their sums right eh :)

  • so wait NOAA makes there on tsunamis to measure? lol

  • Class

  • I'm confused..

  • I thoug it would of been launched by rocket bosster

  • i hope the captain had his seat thight up and him to seat :))) cause if not hes gone :))

  • Spamming the D key

  • Isn't this the NOAA research vessel Pisces?

  • i was so excited until the ship came back up

  • Chuck Norris could have picked this boat up by hand and thrown it into the water.

  • oh dear

  • Can you imagine the guy that was in the boat when it happened? WTTF?!

  • I hope no one was on the crapper.

  • LIKE A BOSS!!

  • Right, now who swims too the boat! ?

  • What good could come from launching a boat that fast?

  • @45doworkson not spending the time to launch it slower

  • I can't beleive they still do it that way

  • how do you get on

  • fastest it willever go sideways

  • How fun would it be if I were actually in that ship when it was launched...

  • pretty nice, makes me wonder what they woulda done if the thing kept going sideways, the captain sure pooped his pants, there was a big brown smudge on the seat and windows when I took the wheel! :D

  • How many of you guys are canadian here?

  • correct but somewhat short on the slip …

  • one hell of a theme park ride

  • And then everyone is like... Wait, is the captain in there?

No, he's over there by the cheese-dog stand.

So we just launched a ship into the water, and there's nobody inside it???

    *GASP*

  • Awesooome

  • how r u pulling that in

  • faik?? Game?

  • Don't forget your coffee on the table while they do this :3

  • omg funny :v

  • @J801506 so you are arguing people were rude and immoral in the time frame I listed? I don't think that started until the "me" gen of late 60's. I specifically mentioned blacks as a measure of social mores. Here would be an interesting measure: when did all the mafioso start becoming snitches, dealing drugs to kids and not keeping inner city streets marginally safe?

  • @J801506 false. the 50's/early 60's were pretty sweet times economically, and blacks were on the way to equality. In the late 60's, the country took a hard left turn and has not recovered. Most today who say they are "conservative" are socially liberal corporatists, not conservative. Thomas Jefferson, a far left liberal of his day, would be decried as a vicious conservative today, if he commented on the absurdity of giant, controlling govt, the rise of fascism and the rampant immorality.

  • @J801506 HOLY crap. I hope you aren't being serious. but it would explain why society is rocketing down the toilet....

Ant people? Seriously? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA She removed here comments once she stopped and thought, and was embarrassed.

  • at the first moment i thought it is a simulator scene ;DD

but later i realised that its real :DD

  • anyone know why not bow first??

  • @gravityaddikt i believe its because they are so long and heavy they have no way to control the boat i am 100% on that though

  • no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHA THATS AMAZING!

  • I hope someone was holding on to the rope that keeps it from drifting away from shore.

  • Next time they should put it on a trailer and tow it with a Caterpillar 797. Then take it to the local boat landing with a confused look on their face.

  • so thats how the tsunami in japan started...

  • Ok now take it back out

  • Epic Win or Epic Fail?

  • @p33092c Epic WIN! Theres not much more ways to launch a big boat like this, if it was a fail it would of fliped and sunk

  • fake

  • Comment removed

  • @jacquesa1 If by "100% real" you mean "done by cgi in a bathtub", then we agree. Did you see the tiny "ant people" running around! It was HILARIOUS. This was probably going to be part of some comedy movie that got scrapped because it was too much like sci-fi. For the "people" to look that small, that ship would have to have been a few HUNDRED feet long! Real ships are 30-50ft at MOST. Hopefully, Rush or Maher will tell me what to believe tomorrow. I hope they can put it into a catchy phrase.

  • Comment removed

  • @jacquesa123 you aren't very bright, are you? I was kidding the entire time. You didn't get the "rush/maher" bit? WOW! I never make fun of retards, so I am sorry you didn't understand it was clearly in jest. Just WOW!

  • Oops, forgot to put the transom plug in before launch.

  • not really extreme because that is what they do for all boats that are built in a dry dock

  • honestly thought it was gonna flip

  • right the rainbow crip the sky, now the black seams start working? and soon mr kukulklan or 3 sister acts will take what is rightfully nepptunes

    why not name it hybris?

  • this looks like the Pascagoula ship yard, they launch much larger ships than this. The Best sideways launch I ever saw in person was the USCGC Healey in New Orleans. Caused a small tidal Wave that washed over the crowd.

  • i thought it was going to capsize.

  • 37 people were on the boat when it launched.

  • HEY IM TRYIN TO FISH HERE!

  • @tj13able your face is fake

  • @tj13able

THOUSANDS of boats have been launched like this. Your ass has apparantly never seen one. So you sit on a video and call it a fake simply because you haven't seen one, or haven't heard of it. Try any one of, oh, hundreds of videos on here of boats being launched like this, and call it fake.

  • Wait a second hold the launch I have to use the restroom.............Creeeeek SHITTTTTTTTTTTT

  • I'm waiting for the one boat launch that tips a little too far and sinks.

  • was the captain like strap on 2 a seat???

  • @flybmxguy

Yes, this is how some boats are launched.

  • @Draknfyre lol i thought they were usualy in a drydock.. physics i guess. lol!

  • @DPG4REVIEW

Some of the larger ones are launched like this. There have been some accidents where the boat goes too far, or hits something on the other side. Usually those are really huge boats that happens to, tho. Or when they screw up the planning, and don't take into account the height of the boat, and it travels farther than they thought.

  • is therre somebody on it? because its floating away

  • are you surprised? at sea must sail sometimes with much larger waves.

  • in soviet russia, the boats wants to die,

  • believe it or not it is an animation

  • I just feel that there should be a better way to launch a ship...

  • Split/Second ;DDDDDDD

  • If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me

These authors, human rights and internet activists have been murdered by the German BND, the renamed GESTAPO:

Fritz Bauer (prosecutor of the Frankfurt Auschwitz processes), Kirsten Heisig, Bernd Seiffert, Karl Koch, Tron, Martina Pflock, Heiner Gehring, Jürgen Möllemann, Uwe Barschel and my brother Markus Bott

BND snitchers are flagging and thumbing me down. Thumbs up if you want the BND to stop systematic torture and assassination

  • i have been in a ship while it has been launched and its like......well its hard to describe imagine being in about thats flipping upside down its like that kind of feeling but it doesnt flip you just get tossed around if you not holding on to anything no matter how well you have sea legs there is no ballancing on that

  • Noaa lost half of there ribons that were on the boat

  • Why don't they just use dry docks :S much safer.

  • Not extream until its launched out to sea with a catapult.

  • That's fun! Now to find a vid of a bigger one!

  • whoo, saved it. Great video!

  • finnish boat?

  • is this real?

  • @vigs92 ye it is. ive seen it in real life

  • that's called a pucker moment

  • "Almost" don't count...

  • Look at the launch workers running -no-- sprinting away in the opposite direction as soon as the blocks are struck. They know the "tidal wave" is going to come all the way back up the launch. Wahahah!

  • Look at the launch workers running away as soon as the blocks are struck. They know the "tidal wave" is going to come all the way back up the launch. Wahahah!

  • good to know where the COG actually is.

  • 36 people were on that boat

  • poor people standing on the boat and waving.

  • Do you think the man in charge farted?

  • im gonna do that today when i go fishing put my bass tracker on the dock like that and launch it trailer and all just push it off

  • yeah...thats not really a extreme boat launch as much as it's a a completely ordinary boat launch...

  • Imagine there's a person taking a shit when the boat was launched

  • @PAGAFER i think they where all takeing a shit at that time

  • @PAGAFER guess he's no longer constipated :S

  • @PAGAFER ROFL LOL AHHH THE SHIT IS EVERYWHERE

  • @PAGAFER no one is on the boats when they launch them

  • @PAGAFER well, he would finish pretty quick!

  • @PAGAFER he would pull a steve-o- in jack ass lol

  • @PAGAFER if i imagined that, then i'd also imagine he had no problems finishing

Someone would probably be hurt if they rode that ride. lol.

  • ahahahahh!! aww man, i wanted it to flip

  • Meanwhile, three hours later, hundreds die in a tidal wave in Japan.

  • @mrxalvhp they just did, it took 2 years for it to go from that boat to there but they just did, lol

  • @mrxalvhp I've seen video of such a launch where the wave swept across to the opposite pier where it drenched a crowd of people there to watch the launch.

  • @mrxalvhp Hmmmm, "Meanwhile, three hours later" Meanwhile would mean at the same time,

  • @ThinkBiker i was thinking that at the same time i read your post

  • @mrxalvhp

    so funny........................

  • is this an american ship launch method or something as i have never seen a british ship launched sideways like this?

  • @citizenerased1992 Narrow boats used to (and still are in some cases) be launched into the canal, side on in British waterways.

  • @zonkozonko, io did not know this, i think they prefer to usa a crane now though!?
