Ldrorricks comment is well made. From what I can see, from the letter, this posting seems to record the auspicious day when someone is going forward for review to become a member of magnum. Its seems to be a LOMO shoot of the day if I may say that after only on look. In any event well done to those who appear on the letter at the beginning.
