First!!!. Actually wanted to thank you for your review on this. You posted it just before I bought it. Most of the emergency weather radios ATM are crap. The only other EWR I was considering was Midland. This will be my 3rd EWR the others being Oregon Scientific. One of them the WR122 has been recalled although I have not had problems with it. Looked into Oregon's current models and they are apparently very bad.

@jlastre You are welcome. I am finalizing the editing for part 2 now. I should be able to get it up this morning, or perhaps after lunch if things go slowly. I am still really liking this radio and I still give it 4.5 / 5 stars after using it for about a week. It has a lot of great features that none of my other radios have. It seems hard to find a piece of electronics designed to last and made with good quality control these days.
